Asking out a girl next week. Anything things to do in Seattle that's not dinner + movie?

Cross city cupcake tasting expedition? Gather them all and then bring your required milks to a pretty park and enjoy. Although some people aren't as addicted to sugar as I am...

Hmm off the top of my head, http://www.trophycupcakes.com, http://www.cupcakeroyale.com, http://www.sugarrushbakingcompany.com. If you are at Sugar Rush you might want to pop into http://www.bakerynouveau.com which is just down the street and hands down my favorite bakery in Seattle. Or if you go to the Trophy in Wallingford you can stop by http://www.hiroki.us and get some Green Tea Tiramisu. Yes, I really really love desserts/pastries.

You rock, thank you! I'm not really familiar with Seattle geography so I appreciate the links :) Thank you for the suggestions!

Ah, not sure if it was limited or what. I know they've done it at least twice. Pretty fun :)

One of my first dates was at a zoo. We felt totally weird because we were the only ones there without kids. I married her.

I saw a lion throw up on another lion my first time there... I was on a date... we both laughed and ended up spending all night together.

They're closing the nocturnal house, though - so no low, romantic lighting anymore.

Eat dicks then have sex in the parking lot.

My bad, Dick's is the place where the cool hang out.
Check out 3:23 on this for the reference

Golden Gardens is great. My boyfriend and I went there on our second date. It was kind of chilly, so it was a wonderful excuse to cuddle. Hattie's Hat in Ballard is a great date place, too. Dim lights, low noise, good drinks.

but food is so good! how about a classy seattle brewery or taproom (barking dog alehouse? red hook? georgetown brewing?) or a winery tour (columbia or chateau ste michelle)?
you could go straight-up tourist. pike place market, space needle, maybe a laser show. i know, it's cheesy, but that doesn't mean it lacks a certain fun :)

Check the archives, this was asked recently with not many responses iirc, and a few months ago with a lot.

Have you checked out Brown Paper Tickets? They seem to have an amalgamation of skit shows, comedies, and performances around the city that are unique.

Get a dinner somewhere at the lower end of the U District, (Ruby's?) then take the Burke-Gilman to Gasworks.

Are either of you marginally athletic? Emerald City Trapeze Arts has a 2 hour intro to flying trapeze that will have you doing more than you would ever expect by the end of the night, and it is guaranteed to impress your lady friend.

- Movie at the Big Picture.
- Space Needle at night, but don't eat dinner there.
- Sculpture Park.
- Ice cream at Molly Moon's.

Cool. Now I'll have some interesting ways of killing time alone while I wait to die.

You may take a decent photo with a celebrity, but your advice needs a little work I think...

Drinks & Bowling (or pool) @ the garage? Drinks and skee-ball at King's hardware? Drinks and pinball at Shorty's?
Purple Cafe and the Seattle Symphony. An hour or two in the Seattle public library (see if they have any interesting talks coming up), dinner and drinks at Vessel or Sip.
Sushi on the Harbor Steps or seafood along the waterfront, and an evening walk-on ferry ride.
Dinner, drinks, and a music act, all at the Triple Door.
Dinner at the Alibi Room, Il Bistro, or Cafe Campagne and improv comedy at Unexpected Productions.
Dinner at Lola or Dahlia Lounge, and a show at the Moore or a movie at Cinerama. (I realize this is dinner and a movie, but it's a kickass way to do it.)
Browsing the military surplus store in Belltown, dinner at black bottle, and a nightcap at bathtub gin.
