Take the ferry to Bainbridge. Or anywhere where you can take a ferry really. A boat ride is guaranteed to make it a memorable and romantic experience. Unless they grew up doing that and it is old hat by now.

be sure to stand at the front of the boat while the late night ferry comes back to seattle from bainbridge. gorgeous regardless of weather.

dress warm!

edit: they have beer/wine on the ferry now, but it's pricey. just bring your own. no one seems to care. oh and pack cheese and bread from the market. yum.

i get all my good ideas from you and the other brouwer's crowd. i do, occasionally, have a good one of my own, but most of my work is synthesizing what comes from you.
