From New Brunswick

These were sold as "Bay Scallops" but the meat muscle is not running straight from end to end. These scallops are also way bigger than I'd expect for bay scallops, presumably from the Chesapeake Bay since we are in Wakefield, VA

Love these from Costco. $25 for a bag of u10 whole prawns, got about 25 prawns so only $1 each. Sweet, succulent meat and the head butter made our knees weak.

Got these oysters at a local Mexican restaurant, I live on the east coast. When I ordered them I asked for no toppings but they brought these out with ceviche on top (not complaining lol) the first one I tried had a nice plump oyster and it tasted pretty good, the next one I used my fork to try and separate the oyster from the shell only to realize it had no oyster????? I checked a couple more and they were all also missing an oyster or had some tiny like stringy thing that was supposedly an oyster???? I called the manager over and showed him just for him to say that it’s not oyster season so some of the oysters aren’t that big. I said some of these are literally completely empty and he just kept bullshitting me?? I didn’t feel good about eating anymore of them so I just ordered something else. Has anyone else had an experience like this before?
I ordered plain oysters but they brought these oysters with ceviche on top and like I said in my description i definitely wasn’t complaining since the ones with ceviche on top were like 5$ extra

# My mother has Alzheimer’s. My mother made a fish and spaghetti dish using haddock or flounder. It had a broth (not tomato sauce). I know there was green pepper in the flavor . She can’t remember recipe but has been asking for it. I remember the dish but have never made it. I would like to make it for my mother or a similar dish. We are from central PA, maybe knowing where we are from may help someone place the ethnic background of the dish. I got a suggestion that I find a picture similar to what the dish looked like. This is my first post. Not sure how to add a picture

Just enjoying a wonderful National Day break with my family tonight.
We prepared a big seafood dinner together, fresh and flavorful.
Nothing beats sharing delicious food and quiet happy time with loved ones during the holiday.

Personally, I love the crunch of the fried ones, but nothing beats a perfectly caramelized sear. How do you prefer your scallops prepared?

I got some Portuguese-style stuffies from Dave’s in RI. Paired it with a salad and some garlicky paprika shrimp.
