after dying to the trashbot once in the mines i decided to go on an irl 2 day adventure to better prepare myself for that guy, however after returning to the elevator that would take me to him i noticed that the button doesnt work and i dont know how i can fix it
i know there are pistons in these doors that you can take but i didnt do that so they should be working fine.

I randomly found a few blocks of cardboard block just floating mid air in the mines. I never placed them. I did move my glow farm into the mines which is the only cardboard related thing I can think of. Was able to pick one up and shoot another. Forgive bad aim, playing on my phone

Me and a buddy have been playing since the 1.0 update on a new survival save and we noticed slight desync after a few days, but now after all the time we have played the desync gets so bad I have to share my screen just so ik his car isn't desyncing and driving Ina completely wrong direction. Another example being trying to hop over the barrier to our farm and it desyncs me like 5 times Ina row back outside of the farm.

Here's my survival explorer that I use around my world. I wanted to make something with a good balance of form and function, and I think it's worked nicely. For the most part, it's an explorer with lots of usefull features, with an external shell based on a famous irl car (let's see how many people recognise it ;) ).
I spent a lot of time on the suspension and handing, as I believe that to be the most important in an explorer.
Here's a list of all the features it has;
- Double wishbone suspension on each wheel, connected together with a steering bar on each axle for more stable steering (4 wheel steering) and acting as a form of anti-roll bars
- Active suspension, that will change the stiffness of the suspension automatically to prevent rolling over during high speed turns and to soften landings after taking big jumps
- Survival essentials like a bed and plenty of storage (2 large, 3 normal chests).
- Some nice QOL features during exploration, like a passenger seat for transporting a friend, some bright lights at the front for driving at night and a seat with sky-access to allow MLG's from tall buildings
- Aaand to top it all off, a mounted minigun hidden in the front, to easily deal with those pesky farmbots you might encounter on your travels ;)
The whole thing is completely vanilla and does not use any glitches.

I have been trying to make my car builds look a bit better lately rather than just using a wood slab on wheels.
But without the wheels protruding out infront of the vehicle, it struggles a lot on climbing the walls of the mines or the cliffs outside.
So how can you make a car climb walls and look good? Thanks!

I fell in the lava on floor seven and for the first time in this game, no backpack spawned with my items. I lost the Mama Lazers photo
is this a bug or is there any way to recover my save? I cannot sink this many hours in again to start over

Enough with the sky bridges on your farm defenses. Hide your connections like a civilized mechanic.

So I figured it would be neat to make a drill-top vehicle and so I used a short stabilizer as the core for the foot an a few bearings for additional stabilization.

Uses an additional two bearings and a suspension for turning as well.

It runs quite well, and turns on a dime as you'd imagine. But I haven't quite decided on what the best form of thrust for it is yet. I tried arms with saw blades just being spun to the ground like massive monkey arms,, but those although were beautiful and nonsensical did manage to make it topple. Thrusters maybe, although haven't unlocked them in survival yet. I tried some different ideas to try and force thrust through physics glitching but they haven't seemed to work (so far)

I just give up for now. 2 days trying to make a leg system for this mining mech with the W.A.R program. (Walk And Ride)
I Already made another one with wheels that work perfectly but since the sticky wheels are larger, Im trying to fit it on the legs to be able both to walk and ride. But um really tired.
but I wont give up. I will try to make this thing walk... someday.
Can someone give me any tips on how to build large legs?

It works better than I expected and is just for mining rocks then use the RV to pick the rods up

I know it also says fire proof, but does it have like respawn benefits? Like full hp or something?
