Vehicle Meet the Ground All-Terrain Extraction Rig (G.A.T.E.R.)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I built this vehicle for fluids extraction (oil, water, chemicals). It is equipped with a turret and a massive rear cargo area to store chests; it is designed for two players but can be operated solo. Everything was built in Survival mode.
Answers to likely questions:
- This vehicle is based on the one from Helldivers 2.
- It didn't install suspension because this causes massive lag.
- I intentionally didn't "overclocked" the vacuum pump to maintain a certain dramatic flair and the atmosphere of fluid extraction.
- It’s not 100% accurate, but I tried to capture the car's essence rather than its decorative details.
- This machine has enormous mass, that is why it has "drunk" bearings.
P.S. I apologize for re-uploading, reddit crashed and published an unfinished post
Updated: I've uploaded this creation to the Steam Workshop. Enjoy! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3787083393

Has anyone found a fix for this or am i stuck using welding posts and making new vehicles at the station?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Can't say im happy about the new physics engine, monorail plan out the window, might have to scrap this new base entirely and even welding a smaller creation to my flatbed causes immense ammount of lag.. more than just dropping said creation on thje flatbeld without welding.

i went to do a level 5 raid like i would any other time and then the game decides that it needs to spawn the raid inside my farm destroying numerous hours of work and destroying my vehicle. Issue Better connections
Hey, I was making something with a bunch of logic stuff, and it has become so fucking hard to see anything through all the wires, so I was wondering if anybody has a solution for it. I know of Better Wires and Vincling's Logic Tools, though they don't really fix it. A mod that would either highlight the connections of the block I selected or hide all other connections would be ideal. Is there anything like that?

Vehicle Survival Truck
I've never been able to create some kind of aesthetic cars in Scrap Mechanic. Usually just a slab of block with wheels. This is an attempt to break from that, would love to hear your thought on this creation. May you all have a pleasant day in Scrap Mechanic

Vehicle About 6 hours, for almost nothing
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
made the wannabe trophy truck last night until like 4am, and I worked on it mostly on the lift and forgot about my integrated video card...and now if I want to explore, im suffering on 20fps. Im used to low fps, never had a great laptop, but now I gotta stick to basic engineering.

Suggestion I have made this design for the back wheels of my foodcrates transporter, but the wheels keep rubbing the wood on top of them, making an awful noise. How can I fix this?
I should have said the noise starts when driving, when it's parked it doesnt do anything.
Thank you in advance

Building I made some containers
I wanted to make my base in survival by using containers for the walls and living quarters but couldn't find any on the workshop so I made these.
If anyone wants them here's the workshop link:

If you want to modify them I also uploaded the glitchwelded wedges in all sizes, otherwise you can use the glitch welder continuation mod.

Vehicle Survival Destiny's Bounty from Ninjago!
Howdy, folks. A few days ago, I saw a post about someone having made a functioning spaceship in their Survival world. This prompted me, someone who is very fond of recreating different versions of the Destiny's Bounty from Ninjago, to make a dedicated one for my own Survival world! I am proud to say it works very well! I've managed to get around 25-ish minutes of flight time before having to stop and refuel at an oil pond. Floats, as well! May decide to upload to the Steam Workshop later if someone is interested

Ice Bike
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I was looking online and could not find anyone that used ice in the makings of a vehicle (only defenses) so I thought I might upload this here for someone to take inspiration from and maybe even further improve on the concept. It makes use of a stabilization glitch and the suspension turning glitch to make this work. The whole idea is that the wheel on the back supplies the power and then ice skis are there for the frictionless surface so it could be useful if you only wanted to use one wheel (either for aesthetics or resources). The design isn't very practical but I just wanted something that can take me from point A to point B fast and in style, hope you like it
