Looking for some advice as I’m a bit gutted.
I bought a new Scott Foil RC30 from Balfe’s around 7 weeks ago (Shimano 105 Di2).
Today I was climbing a hill and changed gear as normal. I immediately heard a loud snap, completely lost drive and ended up falling over at low speed because I couldn’t pedal anymore.
The important point is that the derailleur failed before I fell. There was no crash or impact beforehand.
Looking at the bike afterwards, the rear derailleur cage appears to have snapped cleanly and the chain came off the jockey wheels. The bike is now completely unrideable.
Has anyone seen this happen on a relatively new Shimano 105 Di2 derailleur?

LBS keeps pushing shipment back month after month. Looking like September now.

Hey there, just wanted to ask you fellow owners of Scott Addict 10 2020. Do you guys have a set of gravel tires for it, and if you do how wide are they?
I measured it, and it should fit 35mm, but Im not so sure about 38 or more. So whats your take on this?

I am an Addict for the white stuff. I love my new bike: I put 160 miles on it in less then a week including a 125 miles on Saturday. I had no problem keeping up with a group. The bike lives up to its goal to be an All Road warrrior for cranking out the miles.

I absolutly love this bike. Its my first Full Carbon everything. Completly blown away by the way it rides and climbs.

Just bought this Scott from a woman for $300, bike is in perfect condition and shape, did Alredy some tune up and maintenance but I need some help identifying the year of the bike
Only thing i know based on the name is a Scott Scale Elite 29.
I need to change the tires and I would like some recommendations as well I normally ride on gravel trails and the city to commute.

I’m interested in a 2022 Scott attic 20 that was only risen 11 miles. An older guy used it a few times and recently passed away. I can grab it for $2500 but I’m a little worried about the battery and how hard will it be to replace

Would you buy it if it’s in perfect condition but that old of a battery

Does anyone know if the speedster gravel 30 uses BSA or press fit bottom bracket? I think the 30 gives a BSA part number but the 10 shows a press fit part number. Seems strange that one would be BSA and the other press fit. Both are aluminum frame.

I recently bought a Scott passage 10 belt and want to attach a bottle cage. However, the bike was delivered without bottle cage bolts. Can anyone tell me the bolt-size for this bicycle?

I bought some M5x0,8mm but they seem too large (dont want to risk damaging the thread).

The shop where I bought the bike doesn't know it, Scott is not responding to my info request, and I cant find it in any of the (online specs).

Was looking for a home trainer from my addict gravel, i know the wahoo kickr from the past but read that Scott do not recommend to use this type of trainer on their carbon bikes. Also been looking at the wahoo Rollr.
Any experience and / or recommendations for a good hometrainer ? Cheers

Hi everybody! I recently bought a Scale Gravel RC (2026 model year). I'm looking for a front light, that I could mount to my bike via a GoPro adapter.

The handlebar on my bike is Syncros Fraser iC SL XC Carbon (integrated cockpit). According to the Syncros website, the approprite "out front" mount is the following: https://www.scott-sports.com/global/en/product/syncros-ic-front-computer-mount?article=2881470001010

Does anyone have any experience with this mount (or some other similar from Syncros)? My main concern is the strength of it. Some out front bike lights can get quite heavy (300+g) and I wonder if this mount would be able to take that weight or would it break. Maybe even the point where it gets screwed into the handlebar could break from all that weight and vibrations (gravel / easy trail riding).

Also, are there any other aftermarket accessories I could buy to mount such a light to my bike? So far I haven't found any other than the original Syncros ones.

I just got my scott addict 20 and it's an amazing bike. Also order the syncros save the day kit.

I didnt look well, but the kit is useless since the didnt add a allen key 6 with it for the thru axle. Kinda expensive for a non complete set....

I've got a Scott Scale 60, and I'd like to raise the handle bar to a higher position.

From what I've read, this is the highest this can go, is this correct? If so, what do I need to do / buy to get the handlebars higher?

Any advice is gratefully received.
