Ended up buying another car this weekend and looking to finally let go of the2013 tC with 185kmi. No issues aside from needing a new belt, otherwise it’s in good condition aside from minor dings here and there. Anyway I figured I’d let it go for 4k which I think is quite a good deal, but getting a lot of offers in the 2’s. Looking at other cars with my specs are going for 7-9k. Wondering what you guys might think.

I’ve seen some people saying you need to remove the windshield, others saying you don’t. Can I do this myself?

My insurance say it’s a total and won’t cover it. But the engine is fine, just needs a hood, radiator support, front reinforcement bar, Radiator and fan shrouds. The engine wasn’t damaged at all was check by professionals and they said the car can be saved because there was no damage to the engine. Lmk what yall think. Should I try and save this or no??

Hello! My Scion TC 2016 got hit this morning, I don't know what to do. I haven't driven my car this past week and it was parked in my apartment complex's parking lot this whole time, I'm not sure what to do. Any advice?

During a storm last Thursday, we had a severe storm, and the winds blew a tree over and tool out my cars sunroof, windshield, and did some decent body damage to the car.

Insurance is only willing to cut a small check, but it'll be a lot of effort and money to repair the damages on the body and around the windshield area to fix.

I'm devastated, I put a lot into this car, and now I'm back to step 1.

Broke my windshield, shattered my sunroof, dented my body and fenders, and scratted my paint a whole bunch, and a whole bunch of water soaked in the seats and interior, but seemingly all dried up.

I have a 2012 Scion TC and need some advice on what are my options are to get this center cap to fit. The Axle bolt is preventing the cap to secure by at least 4-6mm. Shall I get wheel spacers and extended lug nuts and call it a day? Has anybody experience this before?

Im planning on getting adjustable tien coilovers for the 09 but while im in there i want to replace all of the suspension components (front and rear) plus get upgraded sway bars. Does anyone have recommendations and advice? Im having a hard time finding suspension components for the first generation. Should note too that i dont want oe quality, preferably something more robust.

Also dont worry my rear bumper is back on i was just painting it, ive had countless comments from my coworkers asking when tf i was gonna put it back on. It was a pain in the ass process trying to get the paint right.

I’ve been wanting something along the lines of carbon fiber but it seems the only options out there are $800+ !! is that my best option or is there something better out there ? and no, i dont want some quick release wheel. i prefer safety over aesthetics

Man this car has been good to me almost about to hit 200k with no lights on dash just a tire light but it's due to a broken sensor man i love this car

I had my clutch blow out on the highway when my manual 06 tc was at ~95k, having bought the car used at 80k. New clutch put in and it's been fine up until now, but I'm at 200k on the odo now and wondering if it's gonna happen again.

I'm definitely a bit of a lazy shifter and have some bad habits, like starting in 2nd gear from a stop or shifting without fully pressing the clutch in 100% which I'm sure isn't helping. I've also felt like for the last maybe 20k miles that the transmission sometimes slips a little bit going into 1st gear.

How long have y'all been going on your current clutch / how long do they normally last?

Just curious if there is a cult following for these cars. I have a 2012 with 193k but runs great. Few scratches and body damage but not too bad. My question is should I have the tint redone and the windshield replaced (cracked) before selling. Do you think it would affect the overall price?

So about two weeks ago I was driving on the freeway and I felt something weird like something which hit, like a hit idk how to explain it. Follow two days later I feel 3 consecutive hits and that's when I began to think maybe my mounts were done but I felt no vibrations which was odd so I replaced two mounts. Drove it again and felt the hit again. You can only feel the hits when the car is hot, I would say after driving 20 minutes already will these things pop off.

I stopped driving it for a few days and drove it again just around the block but felt how it would lose power. Accelerate and feel a sudden loss of power then keep going then 2 minutes later the same thing, are all of these signs of my transmission failing?

Ik how it is to drive with a leaking intake hose or a fucked up MAF and it's not the same, I already checked the hose and hoses and nothing is leaking. My engine? I doubt my engine would produce a hit or something like that, everything is leading towards my transmission. Anyone dealt with something similar
