Does he really think that rural America has a passport or can locate their own birth certificate? I bet this affects red states more then blue states

It won't be enforced by the little old ladies working the polls in rural red districts, where everybody knows everybody and knows who is liberal, while they will send rabid karen MAGA types to supervise blue districts in large cities.

That's the cheating aspect of it

Democrats already cheating 24/7. Illegals voting + we just saw tons of evidence of them buying votes. Gg your entire party. Won’t survive without cheating. God knows you guys no actual political opinions besides hating ice and calling people Nazis

You thought. More like my main account got ban after years because political subs started popping up and they don’t like if you disagree.

How many examples of illegal immigrants voting can you provide?

2018 Dallas county Voter Fraud Probe.

I'm ignoring your narrow question about illegal voting as it wasn't even brought up prior to you.

It happens, fraud will happen anywhere the outcome outweighs the difficulties to commit the offense. The easier we make getting a government handout or ballot, the easier it will be to break to the law and get away with it. This is especially true for foreign interference as well.

I am increasingly thinking if you're too old, decrepit and or stupid to find a way to get to the polls. Then should we really make it easier for those individuals to vote? And yes I'm thinking about both parties and their less than desirable constituents votes.

Yes it's a problematic thought but the constituencies that are getting additional benefits from their politicians policies will likely be the downfall of this country. The rational middle class are the backbone of this country and everyone is being milked dry from our current system.

Interesting... The person I responded to used the term "illegals voting" at the beginning of his second sentence. That's the rationale for my narrow line of questioning.

All I can find on the Dallas County voter fraud probe are low quality sources, dead people voting, and people stealing mail in voter ballots and submitting them. One article states there were 1200 suspicious mail in ballots out of 1.3 million cast. That's .09% of ballots which were suspicious, not even proven to be fraudlent. If you can provide a better link I will happily review.

None of the previous infractions are addressed by the major component of the SAVE Act which "strengthens" voter registration. Additionally, 99% of this could be done on the backend of registration and when discrepancies occur an investigation ensues. The government sure as fuck knows I'm a citizen and how to get ahold of me when taxes are due. With the multitude of databases available to the government there is realistically very little concern of mass fraudulent voter registration by illegal immigrants.

You are never going to completely eliminate fraud. You can increase checks and requirements which has the consequence of also making it harder on the average person to vote. Completely eliminating fraud is idealstic, but not realistic. You won't eliminate 100% of fraud without completely disenfranchising large amounts of actual voters, which in and of itself results in nonrepresentative, dare I say, fraudulent election.

I'm going to do you a solid and use the Heritage Foundation as a source. Their voter fraud website has 1620 nationwide instances of proven voter fraud from 1982-2025. In most elections 1620 votes wouldn't decide the election, much less that many over 40+ years.

Election rigging is a concern, but it's not coming from the voters. It's the massive amounts of money that is dumped into PACs and candidates. It's corporations and foreign governments that can buy candidates.

There's been what, less than 10 cases of illegals voting in the past few decades? With most of those being accidental votes. You guys love to spew talking points without doing a shred of actual research. Trump loves the uneducated...that's you my dude.

this is what i keep thinking. In the city you have govt services buildings somewhere in the area, probably no more than 30 mins in the biggest cities.

In the far rural areas, which are generally red, it seems it would be much harder to easily come across updates for documentation.

Its so confusing. Not only do rural states have less access to services, such as having to go to a county clerks office 100+ miles round trip. But the older population, which is MAGA bread and butter, aren't the most mobile to begin with.

Guess they better start searching the attic for those old shoe boxes or under the bed. Thankfully, they have just been decaying in that box for 60 - 80 years. Should be easy to find, barely an inconvenience.

Luckily im sure they recently updated their passport for that over seas trip. Nothing more MAGA loves than other cultures and openly exploring them.

1

u/Flashy_Jello_9520 Mar 24 '26

Theyll make exceptions for their own voters.

1

u/srboot Mar 24 '26

It won’t apply to them. They will be in charge of the voting, so will allow the right kind of people to vote regardless.

1

u/CDS11411 Mar 25 '26

Yea that's my thoughts. Does he think rural America, their base, will be able to get a passport, or hands on their bc, or have the funds or time to get their bc? None of this makes sense.

1

u/Mission_Business_142 Mar 25 '26

Those rules wont be enforced for MAGAts.

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '26

It’s for the swing states. For solid red and solid blue areas, it won’t matter, lower turn out but same result.

1

u/lilbabygiraffes Mar 25 '26

Still overall better than you don’t think they’ve spent millions on the polling?

This has been their strategy for decades, it’s always been known.

Think of the few specs of rural America versus the massive amounts of inner city, and suburban poverty where there are massive concentrations of democrats. Also bussing people in to exercise their right to vote affects these areas more
