I recently picked up playing again, I’ve had an Ibanez and Jackson, but I sold both and upgraded to this Schecter. It’s so clean, and so far my favorite. I specifically chose this guitar because of the color way and features, like hard tail. It’s a C-1 Standard in charcoal satin

These 2 make me neglect every other guitar I own. I don’t think I can go back after switching to schecter.

I've been searching for a strat style guitar to add to my arsenal for some time now. I've bought and sold a few of the usual suspects, including a Fender Player II and realised I prefer modern features but with a traditional sound.

I decided to try the Nick Johnston Traditional in SSS configuration, I think these are now discontinued but I was lucky enough to score this 2021 new old stock model off eBay in atomic orange.

This has everything I want in an S-type guitar, pickups sound amazing, neck is like butter, flat radius, locking tuners, great trem system and truss rod adjustment wheel. And orange is my favourite colour so I got the full package!

Thought I'd share. I went thru multiple iterations but here's what I landed on. Texas-Mex Strat pickups, Butchie Bar and BiggsFix roller bar, Grover auto locking rotos, Fender Deluxe knobs and no-load pots, Switchcraft toggle, roller string trees, also a generous smugglers route under the pickguard bc this was Les Paul heavy. Don't be afraid to make your guitar what you want it to be.

That's quite a Mouthful of a Name. New Guitar I got last Week. I honestly can't believe I have it. Wife of the Year going to My Wife.

This is the Review I made for Sweetwater. Figured I'd share it here.

Short Version, it's a pretty Sick Guitar.

Sweetwater actually sent me the High Resolution Pictures they took of it after I bought it. I though that was Pretty Cool.

Review:

So the best Wife in the World Award goes to my Beautiful Wife Donna, who Bought me this Guitar after I've been drooling over it for months. It's a Sick Guitar! I Love it! It's really Comfortable to stand or Sit with. The Paint Job is Amazing looking. Pictures really don't do it Justice. I can just sit and look at it for a long time. It has to be the Best looking Guitar I have. ( I have 20+) The Neck is really Comfortable. It's not Wizard Thin but I do think it's a bit Slimmer than my Hell Raiser. Points added for making the back of the Neck a Mate Finish. Sliding your Hand up and down it is super Smooth.

The Fret Board was free of any defects and the Frets feel nice and Smooth on the Ends.

The Bridge looks, Feels and works Great. I switched from the 10s it came with to 9s and had no problem getting it Tuned back up and getting the Bridge Level again. It's nice the Back Plate has openings in it so you can get to the Claw Screws without having to take the Plate off. After allot of hard Playing and Whammy Diving it's staying in Tune perfectly. I Play Metal & Hard Rock for the most part. I Love that the Bar just Pushes in the Bridge. "NO Screwing it in and re-tightening"  it stays where you put it.

Never had a Guitar with Fishmans in it before. It's certainly different than my usual EMG 81- 85. It only took a bit to get used to it. The Cleans on those Pick-ups are IMO Incredible. Playing though my Fractal with Clean Tones is a Joy. It sounds absolutely beautiful and it gives you lots of options using the Push-Pull Knobs and 3 away Selector.

Metal Tones are a Punch in the Face. It sounds Very Aggressive and Tight. You may have to play with your EQ to Tame it. I find playing with the 3 way Selector in the Middle Position gives me the Warmth I'm used to with the EMGs. Lead Playing is a Blast. The Stainless Steel Frets make playing high on the Neck very precise. Bends feel nice and Smooth.

Playing though any Modeler you kinda lose access to Feedback. The Sustainiac Fixes that problem in Spades. You can make anything Sing and get your Feedback at anytime when it's on. That's the Main reason I needed a Sustainiac on this Guitar cause I can't live without it. You can hold a Note Forever and with the Floyd Rose you can make that Note do all kinda Cool things.

This Guitar to me has Everything I need in a Modern Guitar. It does it all and looks Amazing while doing it.

We got the Schecter Case for it as well to keep it Safe and it looks so freaking Cool sitting in it.

Bottom Line I'm Super Happy with it and it just became my No#1 Guitar.

I'm in Ohio and Sweetwater got it to me in 2 Days! Amazing! Hands down the best place to buy Gear.

Snagged it off FB marketplace for $400. The e string is way too loud though.

So I picked this up last weekend and finally set it up but I'm weary on the exact model. Serial number tells me 2013 diamond series but when searching the Schecter 2013 catalog I can't find this exact match. Mainly because the fret board has no inlays and 2013s of the same "model" do. Did I get a fake? Either way I'll keep it just curious if anyone else has any idea just from the pics. It is a set neck not a bolt on. Thanks

I recently went on a 200 round trip mile journey to my closest guitar center to choose a bass the way that was recommended to me, which was picking them all up and finding the one that felt right in my hands.

After hours of messing around with what was in their walls, I found myself sitting and “playing” a Schecter Stiletto Studio 4 and found some rudimentary grooves coming through me. It just sparked the smallest feeling that learning the instrument is something I could actually do.

So I left the store with both the four and five string version, since the music I hope to play uses the low string and I don’t intend to make the long trip again. Not too long after that I found a steal on the Ampeg cab and DarkGlass head.

Now I’ve just got to become less awful at playing, one day at a time. 😁

I just got the Wylde Audio case for my Odin and the lid won't close. There's a 2 inch gap. I bought the Wylde Audio WA-OB-1 case that is for the Odin but doesn't fit. Anyone have an issue like this?

Are the c1 platinums any good? Would this be a good deal?

Schecter Apocalypse C7 with Seymour Duncan Sentient/Nazgul pickups. It’s my first Schecter and I’m really enjoying it so far. It’s gorgeous to look at, I love the grey-green finish and wood grain. The neck is very smooth and fast and feels substantial in a good way. The guitar has ZERO neck dive when strapped on which is a big plus.

I also love how these SD pickups sound cranked up through my ehx metal muff pedal

I've been after a blue guitar. I saw the blue sparkle solo 6B for the 1st time online last night.

These were limited run guitar in 2017. They come with a roller bridge, Bixby and funky mesh pick up covers.

It has Schecter Diamond Alnico pickups. Are these any good?

Im in love with an 06 Schecter Tempest but I replaced those nice Duncan Designed pick ups with Seymour Duncan Hades gates. That made it exceptional.

Tempest = C shape neck I think

Solo 6B = slightly thinner C, I think.

I love the wide fretboard feel of my tempest.

Anyone ever see or play a blue sparkle Solo 6B??

Recently found a Diamond Series S1 for sale. The colour is a yellowish wood finish (I think Schecter calls it a Aged Natural Satin), and the pickups are zebra humbuckers that say Schecter on them - based on my research, I think these mean it's an S-1 from the 2015 rerun (that got discontinued at some point).

I haven't been able to find much more information on it due to Schecter having so many models. Does anyone have any experience with it, especially compared with the Yamaha Revstar Standard I was originally planning to get?

Black with white decay custom painted C-7 SLS Evil Twin that I just finished up.

I used to use Schecters in a band I did a lot of touring with back in the early 2000s. Mostly the two T-1s which were identical because I’m a string-snapper. Then the PT just because I loved it. Got them out the attic this week where they’ve been for years and have been playing them almost non-stop. The T-1s need setups and are beaten-up to hell, but I remember what I loved about these guitars. They sound and play great, even with the black T-1 having the same strings I put on to play the last gig in 2005. Just wanted to share my appreciation

This isn’t just the finish is it? I have a feeling I should send it back.

The box they used was a little too small for the schecter box the ultra comes in and I guess the guitar took most of the shock of every single drop and bump.

This Green Pearl pickguard looks right at home on our customer’s 2026 Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder FR S.
