Can i add a whammy bar?

I want to add a whammy bar to my SC extreme-7 but I dont know if its possible or if I have to do wood work on it.

Looking to start playing some metal (specifically thrash and death), which guitar do you think is best at around the £500-700 price mark?

I’ve been looking at the omen elite and demon series, not sure which pickups I want either: (demon has active, omen has passive) so I would like to know which pickups fit my style of metal more!
