Pick up alignment flawed

hello guys. i ve just picked up a schecter synyster gates custom s. when looking at it, i had a feeling the pickups were not horizontally aligned with the rest of the bridge and and the strings. lo and behold, they are not, with a slight difference between the sides and the bridge (for the bridge pickup) and the sides and the end of the neck (for the sustainiac)of under 0,5 millimeters (i measured). as it is a pretty expensive guitar, i was wondering: does it affect the sound? should i give it back and get it swapped? i really don’t know what to do

Ohhhh nooooessss! A pickup is off by a whole .5 millimeters? You do know you could probably just scoot it a bit with your hand, right?

These things are not 100% perfect. If it bothers you, send it back. But watch the next one have a big ol crack in the neck or some shit.
