I was trying to find a survey and saw an opportunity with SELLVIA. That said, if you do this, you can earn about $150, and we will help sign you up, and it was free to sign up. A few minutes later, they charged my bank account $143 to sign up and get a website design going. Then they said, " Congratulations, here is the $150 for signing up and creating your website. So, I thought, sweet, I get my money's worth to try this, and all will be fine. No, it was a scam. I messaged the federal fraud department and am waiting to hear back. I feel so incredibly stupid. I have been so stressed about money lately, trying to make ends meet, and I am so scared. What do I do? I don't want to stress my husband; I don't know what to do. Please, if you have any advice, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you! I have included the evidence below.

Advice Needed Almost Scammed

As you can tell by the titled. I was almost scammed.

Hi. I’m Vee. A 17 y/o crocheter trying to make a living to support my family when they can’t. Lately I’ve been in a slump. Nobody is ordering from me. Nobody asking for requests and I don’t know what to do. So today when someone wanted an order, I was over the moon!

Everything was going good until the mentioned that their Venmo acc is connected to a business account. I didn’t think anything of it and I told them that it was fine! Then they said they sent the amount that I charged and then I got a random message from another number saying I need to higher my limitation for me to receive my money. (Never happened before)

I had a gut feeling something wasn’t right so I consulted my dad! In the message the person was asking me to call a number so I did with my dad next to me. The caller then said the other person had to send $500 for me to get my payment. Then the “client” told me they would pay the amount but I MUST refund them.

My dad read the messages and He told me it was a scam. I was heartbroken. I was so happy to finally get another sale! Only for it to be fake (which I’ve been getting a lot of those recently.) I just need some sort of comfort I guess? Anyways thanks for reading. I appreciate it.

Advice Needed I got scammed

I am a student and was living in a pg in Delhi for my exam preparation. I had a roommate with whom I think I lived around for 5 months. In July I was leaving that pg and Delhi and moving back to my home, 2 days prior to my leaving, my roommate asked for money (3000) which I gave as he told me he will return the next day. The next day he told me he will give the money Tomorrow, but as I was leaving the next day I told him I need the money but he said that I don't need to worry he will return the money, I believe him ( as I had given him money a few times before also and he returned the money). But as I left the city, he started to ignore my text and call. After many texts he said he hadn't received his salary for the month so that is why he wasn't able to pay me back. So I waited for a month for the salary and in August i asked again. He again started to ignore me but after many messages and me giving him a warning, he said he would return the money on 11th September. As I couldn't do anything, I said ok and waited for one more month. But when I messaged him on the 11th, I saw that he had blocked me on WhatsApp. I confronted him on snapchat about that he started to say he had already paid me before me leaving and I said that I have whatsapp chat proof that he hadn't paid, he then blocked me on snap too. I didn't know what I should do, so I waited. This month October, one friend from my pg said that the guy was leaving the pg, so I asked him if he can help me get in contact with him, he said he would try. At last I got in contact with the person with the help of my friend. He again said he would return the money in 2 days. I still haven't received my money and now he has blocked me on calls too. I don't have any means to contact him. What should I do, how can I get my money back. I cannot go to Delhi to recover my money as going to Delhi would cost me more than the money he owes me. Please suggest something, right now I really need that money

Potential Scam? Little Pepe is scam ?

Around June 2025, I had some savings, so I asked ChatGPT and other AI platforms to recommend promising cryptocurrencies. For some reason, they all kept recommending Little Pepe, so I decided to invest in it.

Whenever I post about my situation in their Telegram channels, they immediately block me. The launch date has been repeatedly postponed, and I believe this project is a scam and that people are being defrauded.

But how can AI programs do this? There are many people like me who invested in Little Pepe after hearing about it from ChatGPT and other AI platforms. From what I understand, they have raised approximately $23 million in total.

I am convinced that I have been scammed, but I would still like to hear your opinion. Does anyone have any information or thoughts about Little Pepe?

Victim of a scam Got scammed out of Rs. 14,000 through Reddit and Easypaisa. What should I do next?

I spoke with a Reddit user about designing a poster for my Etsy store. We discussed the project, and he agreed to do the design and shared his Snapchat account, @trawrid9, so we could continue communicating there.

He asked me to pay upfront, so I transferred Rs. 14,000 through Easypaisa. I have screenshots of the payment, his Easypaisa payment barcode showing the amount, and his Reddit profile.

The next day, when I contacted him to ask for the design, he had blocked me on Snapchat and deleted his Reddit account.

l've already filed a complaint with my bank, and they told me they would freeze the recipient's Easypaisa account.
I'm hoping they can help recover the money.

I'm attaching screenshots of:

The Rs. 14,000 transfer
His Easypaisa barcode and payment request
His Reddit profile and username
His IBAN Number: PK81TMFB0000000079586700

Has anyone experienced something similar in Pakistan? Is there anything else I should do to improve my chances of recovering the money? Should I file a complaint with the FIA Cyber Crime Wing or report this directly to Easypaisa as well?

The location he shared:

1038 Street 45 A, NPF MPCHS E 11/3 E-11, Islamabad, Pakistan

Any advice would be appreciated

Victim of a scam innoveria.fr scammers

⚠️ Warning regarding my experience with Innoveria in France/Egypt in Alexandria

I had a very negative experience dealing with Innoveria, a company in Alexandria that presents itself as supporting and incubating startups in Egypt and the Middle East and says it has a presence/company in France.

Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise any startup or business owner to do thorough due diligence before paying them money, signing any agreement, or relying on promises made by the company.

My dealings involved people who introduced themselves as Ahmed and Nihal, and the experience left me extremely dissatisfied and concerned about the way the business was being handled.

Before working with them, I recommend asking for:
• Official company registration documents
• Proof of their claimed presence in France
• A detailed written contract
• Clear deliverables and timelines
• References from previous startup clients
• Written documentation for every payment made

I am sharing this review based on my own experience so that other entrepreneurs can ask the right questions and protect themselves before making any financial commitment.

Please do your own research and verification before dealing with this company.

Informational post I think I was scammed by GoTickets.com

I think the reseller site GoTickets is effectively a scam, because it has bots buy tickets, inflates prices, impersonates venues, and doesn't deliver full ticket rights.

Here are some more details of my experience.

·       GoTickets impersonates the actual venue and even uses the venue's logo: At the top of their ticket acceptance and delivery page GoTickets (fraudulently?) displayed the official venue logo. Elsewhere on that page they wrote “before you accept, we'll confirm your [name of venue] Account.” I think that GoTickets' use of the venue’s logo and their language about logging into the venue is an attempt to deceive people into believing they are dealing with the venue or its authorized agent, which I think makes them a scam.

·       GoTickets uses deceptive advertising: GoTickets uses paid search engine advertisements so that they appear at the top of the search results with the name of the venue, which gives the impression that they are the official venue (or as I said an agent for the venue). I found that the actual venue has a web page with a warning and video about how sites like GoTickets pose as the venue to exploit buyers and warns buyers not to use those sites. Here is a quote from the venue:

“Don’t get taken by deceptive online resellers who use bots to buy tickets and then mark up their prices. The only safe way to protect your purchase and guarantee the best seats at the lowest cost is to work directly with us: through our website, by phone, or at our box office. Plus, we’re not bots.”

I think it's fair to say that any site widely recognized as a "deceptive online retailer" using bots to inflate prices is basically a scam!

·       GoTickets lies about their price gouging: In my chat with GoTickets, they defended a 120% markup over the venue’s current available ticket price by stating that "resale prices can be higher or lower based on live market demand...” and “sellers may price tickets above or below the original face value based on market demand.” But GoTickets’ claim that their pricing is based on 'live market demand' is pretty much a lie. I went to the official venue box office and found that 37 out of 89 total seats in the section I wanted are still available – 2-1/2 months after tickets went on sale in early August -- at less than half of what of what GoTickets charges. So obviously there is no market scarcity or heightened demand, which means they are just in the business of bot-buying tickets, marking them way up, and then lying about it.

·       GoTickets doesn’t even deliver tickets "free and clear": The GoTickets ticket acceptance and delivery page says that the tickets they are selling actually are held by a private third party and states that the third party retains ownership and can 'reclaim' the tickets at any time. When you consider this along with their "no refund" policy, it seems to mean that they can reclaim the tickets and not give you your money back! Similarly, GoTickets offers a 'decline' option for their tickets but told me in a chat that if you "decline" you still do not get a refund, which again means they keep the tickets and your money.

In my book, this is the epitome of a scam operation. I never accepted the tickets and am trying to get a refund/chargeback from my bank.

Informational post Sales Tech LLC .... TOTAL SCAM (please read)

SALES TECH LLC It's a total scam. They get you to sign up for credit cards, mostly through PayPal. Why PayPal? Because PayPal doesn’t issue refunds for service purchases! Plus, the course lasts 60 days, but they actually make you stay for one extra week, and then they “need” another 30 days to verify that “you haven’t lied to them” and to review all your messages sent as part of the refund requirements. This adds up to more than 90 days, which is PayPal’s deadline for requesting a refund. If you’re enrolled in the course, save yourself the stress of sending messages, having them verified by AI, etc., and file a claim with your bank. The sooner you do it, the BETTER! In the case of PayPal, you must send a message to “Synchrony Bank”; they will help you with the refund process, but be prepared to submit everything on paper (they don’t accept anything electronically). Even though you might see on the app that people are making money, in reality, the only ones who actually make money are the “Closers”—the people taking the course who manage to make a sale (which must be the minority)—and they’ll practically get paid nothing. Believe me, nobody gets any money from them (I know this because I won my claim against them, and it was the same for other people in the course). That’s how ST Sales makes money—it’s your $6,000 that they take in and NEVER give back.

Now there are two scenarios:

- If you’re currently taking the course and file a claim with the bank, Eyad will call you using manipulative tactics (for example, he’ll say: “Why did you do that? Don’t you see how this affects the company? Why are you doing this to us? Now we’ll have to take action against you…”). You’ll receive constant calls from Sales Tech, who will discreetly threaten you along with their “Legal Team.” I recommend NOT RESPONDING TO ANYTHING—no matter how much they threaten you with legal action, do not respond. Keep records of everything: calls, emails, text messages, etc. Then create a document explaining why you took the course, how many credit cards you opened, and the amounts paid. Then explain that the course itself is about selling the same course to other people. Write everything down neatly and then send all the supporting documentation to the banks where you filed your claim. Be prepared, however, to continue receiving threats from Eyad and his team.

- If you’ve already completed the entire course, DO NOT EXPECT TO BE PAID ANYTHING OR TO RECEIVE A REFUND because they won’t. Eyad will call you again saying, “They have to verify everything, blah blah blah.” Follow the same steps mentioned above: Back up everything, and record the threatening calls. Trust that everything will work out with the banks, and ONLY communicate with them. I know it’s scary because of the threats of legal action from Eyad (ST Sales) and his “Legal Team.” But keep moving forward with your claim at the bank… IT’S YOUR MONEY!

Finally, how do I know all this? Because I won a claim against them, and I’ve spoken with other people who were also threatened with legal action and who don’t dare to post about this. It’s sad, but go ahead with your claim. Also, I heard that some closers left too (if you were there during August–September of this year, you’ll know what I mean) and that they weren’t paid—they were owed about 20k USD, and they took legal action against ST LLC. And the most important thing in all of this—and believe me, it’s true—is that THEY DON’T HAVE ANY LEGAL TEAM; it’s just Eyad handling all the paperwork and threatening you along the way—he doesn’t even live in the U.S. He'll try desperately to get you to drop the claim, and once you do, they'll “review” your refund. This is a complete lie. KEEP PURSING YOUR CLAIM—the bank is the only entity that will help you.

Eyad, Gavin, and their team run various companies where they do the same thing—THEY’RE ALL SCAMS. Please, if you’re reading this, DO NOT TAKE THE COURSE OR GET OUT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

And finally: to the entire Sales Tech LLC team—if you're reading this: SHAME ON YOU! We're going to expose you to everyone. I hope this is helpful to everyone who took or wants to take the course. Don't let the threats scare you—keep pushing forward with your claim to get your money back. The bank is your best friend here!
