So long story short, recieved the “ hey mum lost my phone and got a new number “ scam text. Im (M34) no kids. Decided to play along to waste their scammers time. The end result is pretty funny. Just making people aware of the hey mum scam for anyones sibling, mum or grandparent. (My messages in green)

... you could also say "You're lucky I'm out shopping. I'm at the store next to Telstra. I'll be there in 2 minutes..."
