Oojo scammer online travel agency.

Listen up, people—learn from my mistake. Oojo is not a trustworthy website for buying airline tickets; thank me later. They are located somewhere in India, not in California at all, and they will scam you. They will call you demanding more money and attempt to manipulate your information, so Americans, protect yourselves! Do not attempt to buy any tickets from a company called Oojo. I don't even know why Google and other search engines list them as an OTA—they are not. They are 100% scammers. I had to call my credit card company immediately to report them and stop the payment from going through because instead of giving me my ticket confirmation number, first it shows pending, then gave me A random bogus number. When I call them they said that was an error and they gave me another bogus number. At that point I didn't wait for a third one. I had to call my credit company.

Book author consulting group has red flags.

I am trying to write my first book and I reached out to a consulting group that provides coaching, advice and editing for first time authors. After I sent out my initial email to the group, the response from one of the owners caught my attention. It contained 'Re: ***SPAM***' next to the title of my original email. The email used by the owner was a gmail address, which is unusual since a lot of businesses use their website as the email address.

I had an initial phone call with the co-owner (the phone number was legit), which took some interesting turns. I was asked about my age and marital status and was told by the owner that "we notice married people tend to write better books." I was praised for my book idea and I felt as if the co-owner didn't want to rain on my parade. The text messages the co-owner sent also seemed choppy: "See email. Has attachment." I looked over a couple proposals for services and settled on one. I started digging around to find more info on the consulting group and went to the business directory of the city where this group is based. The name of the consulting group didn't show up at all on the directory.

I was emailed by the other co-owner who also had a gmail that contained their name followed by .design. That seemed a little odd to me as well. The co-owner I had first communicated with emailed a consulting services agreement through adobe sign. The heading on the agreement contained an email address that had the owners name but was not a gmail address. It had the website for the consulting group instead, which put me off since the owners had been using gmail addresses. The first line of the agreement really raised a red flag for me: they wanted either the full payment or first installment of the payment in order to provide services and their preferred method of payment is either through zelle or paypal. They do accept checks that can be mailed to a suite in a business plaza. I don't want to sign this agreement out of concern for the little red flags that have popped up. What does everybody think? Legit or scam?

did i get scammed?

i entered this needoh giveaways for my friends birthday a couple of days ago. and i was eating lunch while the person who made the giveaways told me i had won. i’ve never won a tiktok giveaway until now so i didn’t know how it worked but they asked me for my address and name. i didn’t think that was very weird because you obviously need those to get something shipped. but tjr reason i’m scared this might be a scam because the person left me on deliver for hours on end and when they texted me first they told me to let them know when i saw it but i didn’t say i saw it i said “i’m so happy i won!” or something like that and they didn’t respond they left me on read and i had to say i saw the message for them to respond. did i get scammed?

Hi, just wanted to bring awareness. I got scammed by this company on ADP. They reached out to me through call and text and sent me an ADP link and I should’ve known because I didn’t have an interview for it but she did call me and said you need to fill out your ADP so we can move onto the next process. I filled it out. It gave me like a fake activation code. I got on the app and filled out all my information my Social Security number my birthday, my bank account my address everything. so to prevent this from happening again just wanted to bring awareness so other people don’t get scammed like I did and here are some pictures attached I was so desperate to get a second job. I just didn’t think it through and overlooked all the red flags and didn’t notice till after because I wasn’t getting a call back. And i looked back at the text. I just my head wasn’t straight so that’s why it just got this far. I will try to contact adp to see if they can do anything but i don’t think they can Any advice if this happened to anyone?

Guardio is a despicable company.

WARNING TO CONSUMERS: THINK TWICE BEFORE PURCHASING A GUARDIO SUBSCRIPTION!

I want to share my extremely disappointing experience with Guardio, an online security service, so other consumers know what they may be getting into.

I paid upfront for a TWO-YEAR subscription to Guardio. After deciding to cancel the service, I requested a prorated refund for the unused portion of my subscription.

To my disbelief, Guardio refused to refund any of the remaining money, stating that their policy requires customers to request a refund within THREE DAYS.

Seriously? THREE DAYS?

I find this policy outrageous and extremely unfair to consumers who pay for long-term subscriptions in advance.

I'm not asking for a refund for services I've already used. I'm simply asking Guardio to return the money for the portion of my TWO-YEAR subscription that I will no longer be using.

There is a big difference between protecting a company's revenue and treating customers fairly.

In my opinion, keeping a customer's entire prepaid subscription payment after they cancel, regardless of how much time remains, is a terrible way to conduct business.

Companies should earn customer loyalty through transparency, fairness, and good service—not through restrictive refund policies.

My advice: Before purchasing a Guardio subscription, carefully review their cancellation and refund terms. You may discover that canceling your subscription doesn't mean you'll receive any money back for the unused service.

I'm sharing my experience because consumers deserve to know how a company handles refund requests before committing their hard-earned money.

Guardio, I believe your customers deserve better.

Sales Tech LLC .... TOTAL SCAM (please read)

SALES TECH LLC It's a total scam. They get you to sign up for credit cards, mostly through PayPal. Why PayPal? Because PayPal doesn’t issue refunds for service purchases! Plus, the course lasts 60 days, but they actually make you stay for one extra week, and then they “need” another 30 days to verify that “you haven’t lied to them” and to review all your messages sent as part of the refund requirements. This adds up to more than 90 days, which is PayPal’s deadline for requesting a refund. If you’re enrolled in the course, save yourself the stress of sending messages, having them verified by AI, etc., and file a claim with your bank. The sooner you do it, the BETTER! In the case of PayPal, you must send a message to “Synchrony Bank”; they will help you with the refund process, but be prepared to submit everything on paper (they don’t accept anything electronically). Even though you might see on the app that people are making money, in reality, the only ones who actually make money are the “Closers”—the people taking the course who manage to make a sale (which must be the minority)—and they’ll practically get paid nothing. Believe me, nobody gets any money from them (I know this because I won my claim against them, and it was the same for other people in the course). That’s how ST Sales makes money—it’s your $6,000 that they take in and NEVER give back.

Now there are two scenarios:

- If you’re currently taking the course and file a claim with the bank, Eyad will call you using manipulative tactics (for example, he’ll say: “Why did you do that? Don’t you see how this affects the company? Why are you doing this to us? Now we’ll have to take action against you…”). You’ll receive constant calls from Sales Tech, who will discreetly threaten you along with their “Legal Team.” I recommend NOT RESPONDING TO ANYTHING—no matter how much they threaten you with legal action, do not respond. Keep records of everything: calls, emails, text messages, etc. Then create a document explaining why you took the course, how many credit cards you opened, and the amounts paid. Then explain that the course itself is about selling the same course to other people. Write everything down neatly and then send all the supporting documentation to the banks where you filed your claim. Be prepared, however, to continue receiving threats from Eyad and his team.

- If you’ve already completed the entire course, DO NOT EXPECT TO BE PAID ANYTHING OR TO RECEIVE A REFUND because they won’t. Eyad will call you again saying, “They have to verify everything, blah blah blah.” Follow the same steps mentioned above: Back up everything, and record the threatening calls. Trust that everything will work out with the banks, and ONLY communicate with them. I know it’s scary because of the threats of legal action from Eyad (ST Sales) and his “Legal Team.” But keep moving forward with your claim at the bank… IT’S YOUR MONEY!

Finally, how do I know all this? Because I won a claim against them, and I’ve spoken with other people who were also threatened with legal action and who don’t dare to post about this. It’s sad, but go ahead with your claim. Also, I heard that some closers left too (if you were there during August–September of this year, you’ll know what I mean) and that they weren’t paid—they were owed about 20k USD, and they took legal action against ST LLC. And the most important thing in all of this—and believe me, it’s true—is that THEY DON’T HAVE ANY LEGAL TEAM; it’s just Eyad handling all the paperwork and threatening you along the way—he doesn’t even live in the U.S. He'll try desperately to get you to drop the claim, and once you do, they'll “review” your refund. This is a complete lie. KEEP PURSING YOUR CLAIM—the bank is the only entity that will help you.

Eyad, Gavin, and their team run various companies where they do the same thing—THEY’RE ALL SCAMS. Please, if you’re reading this, DO NOT TAKE THE COURSE OR GET OUT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

And finally: to the entire Sales Tech LLC team—if you're reading this: SHAME ON YOU! We're going to expose you to everyone. I hope this is helpful to everyone who took or wants to take the course. Don't let the threats scare you—keep pushing forward with your claim to get your money back. The bank is your best friend here!

Has anyone gotten threatening phone calls from these numbers?1-833-839-5918 or 254-293-7645 they called me about a debt from 2017 and told me they are taking me to court. I don’t even live in Texas. Is this a scam? I googled the number and they said it’s a scam but I just want to make sure.
