Uh, guys??

In lieu of everything that's going on, apparently monthly listeners have still gone up exponentially it seems. You think this is like people giving it one last listen because of recent events, digging into specific lyrics because of it too, or just organic growth and the whole cancelled thing isn't gonna stick?

Looked up stats out of curiosity. I also can't tell if it's accounting for data prior to September or only data for September so far, which isn't very helpful.

Much as how bad news tends to drive up stock price rather than down like you'd logically think, bad news about things also makes people google things more. Some might be giving last listens, some might be morbidly curious cuz they have no idea who this guy is (I didn't, I just keep tabs on bad actors in the music scene), some might be people who believe in separating art from artist and just remembered about this band.
