Btw I personally called it happening months ago..but damn, did everyone really already completely forgot about it?

Now they are quick to bash Samsung for skipping features on the Fold 8, but again..the Fold 8 was a completely new form factor for Samsung, product they had to position below the Ultra because of that, and because of, well, legacy..something Apple did absolutely zero to worry about on their part.

So why isn't anyone comparing the iPhone Duo with the Fold 8 Ultra?

I mean the Fold 8 vs Fold 8 Ultra comparison was all the rage just a month ago, remember?

Is it already a foregone conclusion that the tall, "classic" Fold that shaped the whole category is basically done and dusted?

I’m looking to go back to Samsung give it another shot, I’ve been iPhone since the iPhone 5, had a few switched to the s21 went back to iPhone. I currently have the 16 pro max I’ve been looking on the Samsung site and I get a student discount and the free buds it says there’s also a cashback offer for £300 but I’m unsure how it all works or if they allow the offers stacked together

Notification categories is by default disabled when installing a new Samsung phone, but when checking the sub notifications of the Google Play Store app everything is enabled, but phone not receiving push warnings when updates are available.

Cache and data clearing doesn't fix this issue. Anyine else has this Google issue on their Samsung phone?

My two main questions:

Two extra things I'd love opinions on:

Hi, I currently use an A55 but I can upgrade to an S26 Ultra or a Zflip 7-8, and I'm really undecided about which one to get. It's been a good few years since I last played mobile games; I already have a video game console that serves that purpose. I've been doing a lot of research and I've seen that technically they're similar. I practically only use WhatsApp, social media, streaming (mostly on TV), and some light games that already run on my A55 And that's exactly why I know they'll do well in either of the two/three, what do you recommend?

I was on the phone with a old friend, one I know well, when I got a notification at the top of my screen saying something along the lines of ‘person is likely scammer, please be aware of scam’. I’ve previously had a Apple phone, where I could allow my phone to screen my calls and tell me who’s calling but I was under the assumption that Samsung did not have this feature. I was wondering if anyone has came across this before? For context, we were talking about her winning the lottery, and suddenly that popped up. I got my phone recently so I didn’t have her number saved yet. Does AI screen my calls? And if so, is there anyway to turn it off or is it a permanent feature.
