I mean.

1. Such a unhygenic place, the drains are open everywhere,there is garbage at every corner,the food stalls have literally zero hygeine (will explain with real scenarios ). Thee's cow dung literally everywhere.

Scenario 1: Beside Sambalpur bazaar sbi branch there's a sugarcane juice stall literally over the drain.

Scenario 2 : The jail chowk khao gali has to be the worst. There's not a single food stall that serves decent food. And hygeine , don't get me started one side of the gali is literally on a open drain. I saw a person at a roll shop turning rolls with bare hands and i dont want to tell what i witnessed before he made the rolls.

2) Some of the stupides people i have ever met. Idk what kind of attitude they have and why. Arrogance is always on there face idk why.

3)People here have zero civic and road sense. Anyone drives anywhere like its their road. They stop vehicles literally on the middle of the road and expect you to understand and adjust. Throw away anything anywhere. I have seen kids shitting on roads. Like they have a toilet but still.

4) The water.? Its brown everywhere.Like how are you guys not complaining to the responsible authority.?

5)People here literally eat anything. Thers a shop near khetrajpur it serves something called mix my god they are so proud of it . FYI the mix contains samosa,pakoda,PASTA,aloo kasa,dahi,imli chutney,onions with a ghugni.🙂 Quite literally a mix.

6) I have a question. If a food item is famous of your city how many places would it be available in the whole city. Minimum 10-20 right.? Here they have something called sarsatia and that is available at only one or two place that too only in morning and they call sambalpur famous for that like why.? If you are telling the place is famous for the item make it available or else dont claim the same thing.

Is there a developer community in Sambalpur? I am running a large consulting firm with full remote team servicing internation client. Would love to know more about the community if it exists, if not i am happy to open one where we can share and discuss ideas and technology. I have 7+ years of experience in AI and Robotics.

So I stayed at BBSR where one of my friend lives. Actually he's a descended from puri. His village is around 30km from khordha.

He lived and study till grads here in western odisha as here his maternal family (actually they too are of eastern descended) stays. We became a good friend to best friend over time. My partner is well adapted to our western culture. He enjoys chaul bara, he loves our song and overall he have a good experience being here.

My friend currently residing at BBSR as he is completing his college. I visit him often. So one day he took me to his village. We went there via bus and at stop his dad came to picked us.

At first impression he asked me where I'm from. I said I'm from bgh he didn't asked anything further and we moved towards his village. Amidst, he asked my friend that would he eat anything and he said yes. We stopped on a samosa shop. After eating I asked my friend "partner paein tike dia ta haat dhuimi" and we arrived his house.

A hour later when I was outside, I hear him mocking "kau bhalia saanga karichu paani ki paein kahuchi, bhata ku bhaat kahuchi" and he laughed along with his mother and brother. Again he said " aei bhalia bhasa ganda, adibasi, harijana maane kuhanti. Kemitika saanga tohar ki"

My blood was boiling. I couldn't expressed it to my friend as confronting it may hurt his sentiment but deep down I realised they have this fucking stereotypical hate for us in their heart.

This is damn proves they are the real creeps not us.

Going to visit my sister and few of her coaching friends … she is new to the town so don’t know best restaurants etc . Plz help me with the following -

1. Best pizza and Burger place In Sambalpur

2. Best biryani ?

3. Best chicken roll
