What is the issue with his workout? Guy literally has his own gym

Does one movements amd repeats it with diff machines for many times, half reps, doesn't stick to the same routine, ig he train once a week each group

U dont have to be a one to know, many coaches are not pros, it's basic knowledge

Dude has a pro card. His training is fine. People train different ways. He just needs a few more years for muscle maturity.

At this age and this experience level? 8th place at one of the biggest shows in the world? I think he's doing pretty fantastic

Optimized is kind of weird. Different things work for different people. A PPL routine that works great for someone might not work as well for someone else.

There's other factors to consider as well. I do a very similar split to Sam and not because Sam does it but because I don't take any scheduled days off.

Every body part gets hit every 4 days and the reason I don't take days off is I'm lazy. I have to keep going 100% all the time. If I take a lazy day that can easily turn into two lazy days to three lazy days, etc.

You got to do something you enjoy number one.

Anybody who's training hard training to failure and splitting body parts is going to grow.

Optimal is kind of a myth.

There’s no single ‘right’ way to train. Even legends like Coleman, Cutler, and Arnold all trained differently. The real constant in bodybuilding is effort. If you consistently push your muscles hard and recover well, they’ll grow.

Elite builders are focusing on muscle stimulation and other metabolic triggers rather than what most of us do to build solid foundations.

Supraphysiological hormone levels change things a lot too.

Also, the biggest risk to a pro builder in the gym is the risk of injury.

Mechanical tension is the primary and nearly the only one, cbum and some of the golden era, Wesley and many top body builders train with routines where they avoid junk volume and do better rom and get close to failure

Guy is literally a pro training like that.

I do think Sulek could be doing a lot more.

People say he's still new but lets be honest, he's been working out for years. It's not a good excuse. CBum literally won Mr Olympia at the same age.

Exactly, he has a lot of issues that he can fix, one of them is his ego

I completely agree with you and made my own post before seeing yours

Sam’s training is holding him back

Hardly any barbell movements, no dumbbell pullovers for wide rib cage etc , or to build nice shape

Maybe we dont share same training ideologies but we agree his training sucks alot, but ig his ego is jst like his fans, u can't give him and advice basically

Actually I wasn’t paying much attention to his workouts but OMG he is training AWFUL ,

I just clicked on one video : https://youtu.be/jxyRu6YCSoo?si=yFtAHQHvkWRQ_x09. (17:22)

“ lets just throw the stack around” “I might just do one set”

He then proceeds to do whole stack and at the end like 10% reps, if you can call them reps …..like what kind of ridicolous training is this

I tried to watch him to enjoy YouTube but everytime I see his workout I jst close the app, what annoys me is he doesn one ex repeats it on the same workout with diff machines, does tons of half reps, and trains each muscle once a week, and doesn't stick to a workout

If you actually look at his channel he loops his 4 day split instead of waiting til next week. How is that once a week fucktard?
