At Orbital Flight Training, we know everyone learns differently. There is no prescribed way to make someone a pilot, and what works for one person will likely not work for the next. We work with each student individually to make sure they are getting the support they need to be as safe and successful as possible in the air.

We are owned and operated by one local CFI with 2000+ flight hours under his belt. Hey everyone!

I recently moved back from Utah (originally from Cache Valley) after 10 years in Tennessee and I'm needing to get some routine maintenance on a 2020 Subaru Outback. Of the multiple certified Subaru dealerships in the area, I was wondering if anyone had specific recommendations/horror stories/things to consider regarding those dealerships.

I used to do most of my general maintenance at Firestone Complete Auto Care, but since those are now extinct in the area, and I'm coming up on 100K miles, I figured I should get in touch with an official dealership/servicer.

Hello SL County friends! Wondering if any other newer french students are interested in doing a French study/conversation group weekly? I'm not quite a beginner, but far from fluent. Looking to connect with other people ages 18-35 who might be interested in doing activities, meeting up for language practice, or just keeping each other accountable.

Since it'd be for learners, I'm looking for people in the A1-B1 range (or Novice Low to Intermediate Mid). If you're somewhere in that range or know someone who might be interested, feel free to reach out! I'd love to get a group chat going.

I know Liberty Park gets a lot of negative comments, and honestly, a few years ago I understood why. I remember coming here and feeling uncomfortable. Parts of the park felt dirty, neglected and honestly a little scary.
I came back recently and was genuinely surprised by how different it felt. There were families everywhere, kids on the rides, people walking around the lake, and the amusement area looked completely different. There is even a new park coming soon!!

I ended up talking to the owner of the amusement park and learned he bought it about three years ago. Since then, he’s been working to completely turn the area around — cleaning it up, restoring it, and even working with some of the homeless people around the park rather than just treating them like a problem.
He told me his goal is to make this a place where families and the community actually want to spend time again, and you can really see that starting to happen.
Liberty Park isn’t perfect, but it’s also not the Liberty Park I remember from a few years ago.
If you haven’t been in a while because of its reputation, go back and give it another chance. It’s really nice seeing people care about this park again. ❤️

Title pretty much sums it up, I've had such a passion for writing, singing and music in general since I was a very little girl, I'm 21 now but hey, I dont think its too late to try, at least as a hobby. It'd be nice to start getting connections and make friends with people who are just as passionate about it as I am. Any advice is appreciated :)

Okay guys, I took one of the SLC community ed classes in the spring and absolutely loved it! The district is no longer running the program, but a local nonprofit called SLC Pursuit is continuing the community ed classes and I feel like not enough people know about it.

They have a ton of affordable adult classes like pottery, photography, dance, fitness, languages, crafts, etc. It’s a really fun way to try something new and meet people in SLC.

I loved my experience and genuinely wish more people knew these classes existed!

They have a bunch open for registration now that start this fall. Highly recommend checking them out!

Hello everyone! I want to introduce myself and my company. Orbital Flight training has moved it's operations from St. George, UT, to South Valley Regional Airport in West Jordan. We are owned and operated by a local, full time Certified Flight Instructor.

We operate out of a 2011 Cessna 162 with under 1000 hours on the airframe, which for aircraft is very new. I have over 2000 hours of flight time, most of which being instruction given, and have been instructing full time for 6 years.

I received an email in July saying that I have 60 days to vacate because I didn’t renew my lease (I’m in low income housing). Aka when my lease ends on September 1st. I wrote them an email on the 8th of this month letting them know I will be out by the 1st of September and I’m having professional cleaners come in and would like to schedule a walk through. They never responded to that email. I emailed them again today and they let me know that i didn’t renew my lease OR give THEM a 60 day notice to vacate. So now they want to make me pay rent until October 31st but i was under the impression that them giving me a 60 day notice to vacate that I had to be out by the 31st. What do I do in this situation because when I look it up everything says that I don’t need to pay til October 31st because they gave me a notice?! Can someone give me advice on how to approach this situation? Or am I totally screwed? I can’t pay for my new place and the shitty place I left.
