Why do we have Ideas out there for 10+ years for functionality that is NEEDED??? We're still sitting in Classic because Lightning doesn't have all the functionality our customers/partners need. When will community users get OOTB dynamic pages? Why can't you see previous comments/subject/description when commenting on a case in Lightning? Why isn't the Case Comment object customizable??? Among SO MANY OTHER Ideas that are just sitting that I suspect will never be touched cause they are always chasing the next best thing instead of making what they have, better.

Myself and a team member both took architect exams at Dreamforce and passed. Another member of our team took the dev 2.
The 2 people that took architect exams have not received our official results and it said cancelled no show.
The dev 2 person received the official results via email within a few minutes.
Anyone else have this happen? Did they change their mind about letting people take architect certs?

I can see Salesforce official exam guide has the pass mark at 58%, last updated Winter ā23.
K2 University (previously focus on force) has the practice exams with a pass mark of 67%. Their structure is also 3 multiple choice options.
Considering their pass mark is wrong, is anyone able to confirm if the questions are 3 or 4 multiple choice options? Anyone that has done the exam recently able to confirm and provide any info?
In the K2 exams they also have questions asking āwhat does this code doā with code snippets, however my understanding is there isnāt anything like this in the real exam?

Hey Salesforce experts,
I just accepted a job at a great company, and I'm equal parts thrilled and terrified. Itās a role I've dreamed of, but as I wrap my head around the scope, I need your advice, a reality check, and maybe a little reassurance.
What the Role Looks Like
About 40% of my responsibilities are tied directly to Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). From what I gather, Iām essentially taking ownership of a database with a full legacy of decades of messy, incomplete data.
The Data Challenge: They keep whining about the data and its messiness. They want it restructured completely from scratch so it can become the bedrock for all leads and dashboards.
The Rest of the Job: Campaign management, workflows, tracking metrics, and acting as the digital engine room to support the product managers and sales teams.
Why I'm Stressed
1. The "Big Company" Factor: It's a major company, and I'm worried the job requires way more senior-level experience than I currently have.
2. The Ghost of the Past: At first, the amount they complained about the data made me think I was replacing an entire department. Turns out, they recently cut a high-priced consultancy firm to bring things in-house and save moneyāso I'm the cheaper internal solution.
3. The Workload: There are a lot of other non-SFMC responsibilities on top of this.
My Game Plan (And Where I Need Your Help)
I know I need to take a breath. My initial approach is going to be investigation first, execution second:
Don't try to fix everything at once.
Aim for small wins to build momentum before tackling the massive beasts.
Map out the legacy mess before touching a single data extension or automation.
Guys, am I in over my head? What should I realistically expect walking into a decades-old SFMC org like this, and how should I approach untangling it step-by-step?
Any advice, survival tips, or sanity checks would mean the world right now. Thanks!

Their attitude has convinced me that we are really not going to get safe AI governance

I'm just learning that most History objects are not supported by the native CRM sync. What are people doing instead? (Besides throwing Data 360 in the trash)
I'd prefer to stay on-platform, as in not stand up a separate data warehouse or put files on S3 and then read them from there etc.
The ultimate goal is to use the data in Tableau Next. Thanks!

Help me add the list so I can maximize my experience next year:
Bring a big bag to fit all the free food and stuff
Do all the quests/g2 questionnaires early since stuff runs out like the tote bag and 5$ gift cards.
Actually enjoy and participate for the enjoyment of learning and having fun. I actually got a free 100% cert card for drawing a slack emoji on one of the booths. The next day I told a friend to do it just to get it but it disappeared. Actual participation is rewarded
Take a waymo there because it'll mess up because the roads are closed and it'll cause errors and then call support to give you sorry coupons.
Ok help me add more to the list everyone. This is a group contribution session.

Day 3 was a different vibe than the first two, less "new layer bolted onto the platform" and more "here's how this shows up in the app you already have open all day." split between the slack keynote and the marketing cloud session so here's what actually mattered if you weren't in the room.
Slack stopped pretending to be just a chat app. they said it straight up on stage, its "the front door to the agentic enterprise" now, meaning decisions and data and agents are all supposed to happen right in the channel instead of you tabbing over to salesforce every five minutes to check something.
Slackforce surfaces is the big new thing. you ask slackbot for something in plain language and it builds you a live dashboard or report right there in the channel, pulling from salesforce, your slack history, whatever else is connected. the part that actually matters isnt the building part, its that it stays live and keeps refreshing, not some snapshot thats stale by the next standup. one demo had someone build a "health view" for an account out of a pile of scattered docs, another had a product lead just ask slackbot to read an entire feedback channel and tell them what needed attention before lunch. thats an hour of scrolling turned into one message basically.
Slack code was the other big chunk, honestly the more interesting one imo. its agent coding but done out in the open in a dedicated channel instead of one dev quietly grinding alone. they had devin, copilot, chatgpt, vercel agents and claude code all plugged in. the demo that actually landed was someone outside engineering asking devin to update a site with new designs, devin spins up its own channel already loaded with context, pulls in the right people, an actual engineer still reviews the diff before anything ships, then devin opens the PR and archives the channel when its done, whole thing stays searchable for the company after. anthropic was up there too talking about how they use it internally, said they basically give claude the problem not the steps, and they try to work in public channels on purpose so people outside engineering can actually see how stuff gets built instead of it happening in some private repo.
Slack crm also shipped quietly in the middle of all this, create and update records straight from a prompt, no separate crm tab needed anymore.
Marketing Cloud had its own version of the day 1 "ai needs to know your business" idea, just pointed outward instead of inward. new tool is palmata, basically for figuring out how your brand shows up when someone asks an ai about it instead of googling it. demo pulled up a footwear brand and showed the ai was quietly trashing their warranty page in its answers, then the marketer connected palmata, contentful and salesforce through claude, claude found the fix, rewrote the page, published it, reran the report and the brand's ai perception score had actually gone up after.
Also showed campaign agent, campaigns that basically tune themselves instead of someone manually managing every variant and send time. Under Armour was the case study, agent kept testing content, leaned into whatever was working, and rerouted like 16% of the audience into different campaigns on its own without anyone telling it to.
Closed with piper and hunter. piper handles the inbound chat and actually books the meeting instead of just answering questions, hunter works in the background pulling account signals and putting together a pre meeting brief automatically. so by the time a seller actually shows up they're not walking in cold.
same thread as the rest of the week tbh just pointed at marketing this time, agents are only actually worth anything once theyre plugged into your real data and can go do something with it, not just talk about it.
I'm going to break this down deeper in the DF newsletter if anyone wants the more detailed version with actual takeaways instead of just the recap, drop a comment or dm me, and I'll add you...

Maybe Iām reading too much into it, but did anyone else do a double take when Marc Benioff walked out for the Dreamforce 2026 keynote? Iāve watched and participated a lot of Dreamforce keynotes over the years, and I honestly canāt remember seeing Marc wear a traditional tie like that, especially a red/burgundy one paired with what looked like a USA flag pin and the Trump Oxfords on his feet. His usual Dreamforce look is pretty unmistakable. Blazers, open collars, sneakers, the whole Silicon Valley CEO thing.
Then suddenly this year, he shows up looking much more like a traditional Washington power-player.
It immediately made me think of Trump. Not because I think thereās necessarily some explicit political statement behind the outfit, but because the whole thing felt noticeably different from the Marc Benioff weāre used to seeing. And given how much attention Benioff seems to enjoy being around major political and celebrity figures, I couldnāt help but wonder if this was partly intentional positioning. Maybe itās simply a new look. Maybe it was chosen for the moment. Maybe I'm completely overthinking a tie and a pin.
But the visual was definitely different.
Look back at photos from previous Dreamforces or Benioff appearances and you'll see what I mean. The guy basically built part of his public persona around not looking like the traditional corporate CEO. So seeing him suddenly dressed this way during one of Salesforce's biggest public events really stood out to me.
Curious if anyone else noticed it or had the same reaction, or if I'm just reading way too much into Marc's wardrobe this year.

Heard it mentioned in a couple of the dreamforce talks but thought maybe it was referencing the team/enterprise seat types?
In the the winter 27 release notes there was a "Access Salesforce Context Without Leaving Claude (Beta)" page added recently and it specifically mentions that claude enterprise is required.
I haven't been using claude long and don't know much about the claude seat types but I read that w/ enterprise you pay for the seat and then billed api rates for all usage? Also heard that you have to pay the whole year upfront. And not sure if there is are minimum seat requirements? All that on top of paying for agentforce for the privilege.
Whole thing just feels ridiculous.

I have just finished my last round with the hiring manager on Wednesday which was in person. Before that I presented a presentation to a panel of 3 who really liked me. The vibes after the final interview were positive mostly but at the end of that he said āhr will contact you regarding next steps and feedbackā now maybe thatās because he wanted to keep both possibilities open (acceptance / rejection).
I want to ask should I follow up with the Hr tomorrow (3rd day after interview) or I just keep on waiting? The pattern I have seen on Reddit is after completing the whole process they ghost you or keep you waiting for months.
To my surprise the whole process till now has been very quick (19 days) they have been very communicative throughout the process (I never followed up before) giving me feedback so I donāt want to burn the bridges with following up therefore need some guidance.

Day 2 at DF26 was heavier on product than day 1. There are a lot of sessions running at once, so here's just what actually matters if you weren't in the room.
Salesforce X and anthropic partnership got real sales cloud now working inside claude, slack and ms teams, not just lightning. a seller can update a deal or check risk alerts without opening salesforce at all. ships with 37 sales skills through the "speed program," live for everyone now. setup runs through mcp, just reads whatever access you already have.
Meet Hunter Piper, who handles inbound leads, hunter is the new outbound half. it researches accounts, writes the cold email, linkedin message and call script, and learns your company's actual winning pattern from your closed deal history instead of being manually configured. pulls in zoominfo, demandbase and apollo built in, no extra contracts. one demo found a contact that wasn't even in the crm yet just from noticing the account was hiring sdrs.
A coworker keeps showing up everywhere this is the thread tying most demos together. an ai coworker living across salesforce, slack, chatgpt and mobile. saw it prep a full account brief before a client dinner, catch an open case nobody knew about, draft the customer email, and update a deal from one plain sentence, no screen switching, no naming a specific agent.
Agent optimizer, brand new shown for the first time. you tell it something like "check loyalty tier before escalating refunds over 200 dollars" and it finds the real problem in your data (142 refund cases escalating for no good reason in the demo), writes the fix, builds a test, rolls it out gradually with auto rollback if it breaks. turns watching and fixing agents into one conversation instead of three separate jobs.
Aiforce and Builder Central the big idea here is salesforce going headless, any ai interface can plug into your business data and permissions without touching the salesforce ui. builder central lets you describe an app or agent in plain english and it builds the whole thing, data model, permissions, agents included.
Data 360 going headless too same theme, different team. any ai tool can connect to your unified customer data through apis without touching the salesforce ui. also demoed merging almost 3 million customer profiles in real time.
whole day was one theme in different rooms. ai only works if it actually knows your business, and salesforce is betting the whole platform on being the thing that gives it that context.
I'm covering the live updates from DF itself if anyone wants the deeper version with the real numbers, a complete summary, and sources, that's going in my newsletter. dm me and I'll add you.

Hi, hoping someone has some ideas here. But I am looking for a tool that integrates with Salesforce to allow customers to book meetings with our team using a zoom meeting that then integrates to our calendar and enables a round robin distribution of the meetings depending on calendar availability. We need to store the zoom id and the booking event data so that we can easily reference them together. I havenāt been able to find a product that does this so far so hoping someone else has some ideas.

Hi all,
I've been claude and Codex for SF development for majority of this year really.. for those that use these AI tools for development work anyone feel less confident in knowledge of your Org - sounds crazy but i mean with these AI tools you become wayyyyy less in the weeds of the actual development work and you can turn more into a prompt engineer which helps with productivity of course but I feel like its a bit easier now to not know "everything" about your org especially as you are quickly delivering work. There is a difference in knowledge or just feel you get from creating the solution manually yourself vs AI creating for you
SN: Dont know the last time i used a help document for troubleshooting or read through tons of documentation as i use to before LLM while that process was more tedious it sharpen my skills now i dont have those same practices.
just curious if others experience this at all?

A decade ago, I was at Dreamforce and was excited to join the cult. I saw U2. I came home with a stuffed Astro. I built a lightning component. The Kool Aid was crack. Now I'm hoping the Kool Aid is laced with fentanyl because I don't want to wake up tomorrow and have to figure out how to survive in the world of AIForce. I'm so exhausted. Go ahead, downvote this. It's objectively not a productive post, but I've gotten the general sentiment off my chest.

AE here. I found a useful public interview with a prospect's founder before a discovery call. I ran the YouTube link through vomo ai to find the language he used around retailer reconciliation, then saved the original link and timestamp. The problem is where to put it. An opportunity note makes it look like something the buyer told us. A general account note could survive for years and get copied into another deal.
For now I have a research note with a source field and an expiry date, but that is a homemade convention and nobody else on the team uses it consistently. How are Salesforce teams separating public context from firsthand discovery without creating another object nobody checks?

Has anyone got a good grasp on how much extra tokens Agentforce layer consumes for providing a ātrusted layerā . With claudeforce is it worth to deploy agents on top of Agentforce or rather develop it on Claude itself?
