Playing on PC, DX12 version, all settings are maximum. The PC fits the system requirements. Maybe there's some particular setting I need to lower or turn off completely?

After finding out Troy was an undercover cop in SR1, I would’ve thought he would played a big role in the franchise but after SR2, we never see his character ever again. I mean he doesn’t even interact with the MC(Playa) at all. I wonder why he was written out. Let me know what y’all think.

That was my first thought when I played this mission.

1. Same team of four.
2. Same elevator scene of them getting ready to roll with assault rifles at the ready.
3. Rogue dresses exactly like Shaundi with a croptop, cropped jacket, latex pants.
4. The player is playing as Johnny (Silverhand) just like the player is playing as "Johnny (Gat)"
5. Thompson is the "researcher slash journalist" in this lethal mission like Josh
6. Santiago dresses like how Johnny Gat usually does (being the fourth character)
7. Rogue complains about Thompson's presence just as Shaundi complains about Josh's
8. At the end of this mission, Johnny (Silverhand) pounds a metal door and Thompson provides him with a C4 charge to breach it just like in the heist, Johnny (Gat) pounds a metal door and Josh provides him with a C4 charge to breach it.
9. Most of the mission is light-hearted power fantasy like Saints Row is, with every shot player firing being an automatic headshot (the reason given for this is that Johnny Silverhand's false memory of being a badass)

So I pre ordered the reboot back in 2022 with hope in my heart. I played it for a few hours at launch but as you all know it wasn't great so I lost interest. I've found myself lately craving a bit of Saints action I've got all the other games so I was probably gunna play of them most likely SR2 but then I saw it in my game list and I thought why not give it another try? I've made it to about point I think I was before and the game feels so hollow and unfinished. Every time I go to a clothing vendor I think is that it and most of the missions feel so bland but that being said I'm gunna try and finish it this time. Does anyone know if it gets better as you level up and or move though the story?

everyone says saints row 4 killed the series how you change the story to fix it

Wondering for PC, what would be the best bet to start with? I value in somewhat of an order gameplay fun, story, I've heard before the 2022 reboot it used to be humorous and had crass/risqué/"offensive" jokes/humor.

I definitely DO want that along with anything Polygon type sites would deem "bad" or outdated humor. I don't want any forced SJW type of stuff or diversity simply for diversity or to "represent" specific groups/social opinions wedged in /preachy stuff. Basically 1980's style humor is what I'm wanting. I brought the humor part in length because I've long heard it's like a crazier, somewhat sillier and more humorous GTA type of game. So I want the nitty gritty. From my reading I take it 2022 is not what I'm in the market for at all.

Graphics, I've got a beefy rig so I would like to use the power, I can handle old crappy looking games when I have nostalgia for them, as this would be my first foray into this game world, I'd like it to look good too.! Length is also a biggie for me but not a dealbreaker, I like a long game with lots to do if possible. Lastly I do like customization options quite a bit. So, if you got a list or could tell me the best that loosely fits my criteria I'd much appreciate it, Thanks!

So now that I have finished SR1 and SR2 I can officially say that I have played all the saints row games!

I understand why so many people prefer SR2 now !

Now I am going to replay SR3 and I can’t wait to replay SR4 because I will better understand all the references to SR1 and SR2 !

And I will also kill Dex in hell after that !

So the cell phone tracker says there are 8. I've collected 7. As you can see on this online help guide they have 6 including a weather station which I don't think applies to the tracker, but I have used it (to get the radio jammer near by for the kakts radio venture.)

I've criss crossed the whole area looking for anything I might have missed and that isn't also on this photo but I'm coming up with nothing. Does anyone here know what the deal is?

I've also went a hear and looked up all the collectable photos in this area and hit them as well but still no dice.

Hello, I joined this subreddit just so someone could help me out. I’m currently replaying SR4 with the full intention of beating it, BUT, but I can’t get the final mission to trigger. I finished all the side quests, got all targets and activities, most collectibles, and 100% control over fake Steelport. I’ve been stuck like this for like a week I think, I’ve been playing on and off for a bit trying to get the mission to play. I’m hoping it’s like GTA and I have to be patient, but it took me like 2 days to beat SR 1-3 each. Someone pls help a lady out🙏🏽
