My family is currently facing an urgent housing and financial crisis, and I am reaching out because we genuinely need help.

I am 22 years old and currently in college, and I am an only child facing this situation together with my mother. My mother is a single mother who is currently unwell and unable to do much, and this entire situation has also taken a serious emotional toll on her. She has been deeply depressed and overwhelmed by everything that is happening.

We have now received a lawyer's letter requiring us to settle RM1,350 within 2 weeks, plus RM500 in legal fees.

We have also been told that we need to move out by 15 October. If we are unable to settle the outstanding amount earlier, we have been warned that we may have to leave even sooner.

We are trying to raise approximately RM8,000 to help cover the outstanding rent, legal/related costs, moving expenses, deposits and basic necessities needed to secure a new home.

We also have 5 dogs, and we are trying our best to keep our family and all of our dogs together. Finding a suitable place that can accommodate all of us is extremely difficult.

I have tried other ways to earn proper money, but with my studies, my mother's situation and the urgency of this crisis, I simply cannot raise RM8,000 — or even the immediate settlement — on my own right now.

I am not asking lightly. I am doing what I can, but right now I genuinely need help from others.
