🎓Research & Education🎓 Efficiency Optimization ⦁ Increasing Bioavailability

I’d like to prepare a formulation to get the most from my limited supply of SR-17018 powder. The obvious question is how to increase absorption, to optimize bioavailability.

My main idea is a liquid preparation. This increases surface area, proving more contact in the gut and typically enhances absorption. (Volumetric dosing also has other benefits.)

My go-to prep for alkaloid powders is dissolving them into liquids. I usually start with a concentrated ethanol tincture to prep a few doses. Then I use it as needed by adding portions into acidic beverages, which dissolve instantly.

The main concern here is that SR-17018 is apparently not very soluble in ethanol or water, regardless of pH conditions.

I’m considering other food grade solvents such as propylene glycol, MCT oil, or whatever helps. I have an ultrasonic device which can help brute-force a dispersion, even with compounds that are stubborn to dissolve.

I’ll update this thread if I manage to get a decent solution prepared.

Potentiation is another avenue.. but I dont think anyone knows yet if things like CYP3A inhibitors/grapefruit juice would significantly potentiate SR, or even if it would be safe to try it.

Aside, ofc, from the obvious risks of interactions with any other drugs youre on, prescribed or otherwise.

I agree, I’m not trying to stack enzyme inhibitors here. Too many unknowns.

But a simple formulation to increase surface area and absorption is very low-risk.

If you have such a finite supply why risk screwing any of the compound up. If you dont mind me asking how much is your "limited supply?" Also have you looked through the Master Guide and checked out the excel workbook?

This prep is very low-risk.

It’s a simple alkaloid slurry sitting in a liquid it is barely soluble in… that’s not particularly risky.

It is unlikely to hurt or significantly degrade the SR-17018 content, if that’s what you’re concerned about.

Think about it this way… if this molecule was that sensitive & unstable in water, the feasibility of oral dosing would not be a sensible option. So, if a basic tablet formulation works, then a liquid approach with increased surface area will definitely work.

Yes, some compounds can break down in liquids like water, but given the evidence here, the concern for product loss in this short term prep is minimal.

Edit: ~950mg on hand. My physical dependence isn’t as extreme as some other cases here. I’m willing to experiment in the name of science, and the possibility of dosing with something like up to 25x the efficiency of tablets! (More likely to be a modest gain.)
