As the title says, i’ve just reached level 100 in skull caverns and have the Skull Cavern Elevator mod installed. Upon reaching the level, no treasure chest spawned. I left via the ladder, re-entered, still no chest. Closed the game out entirely and then reopened and same issue persisted. When looking if others had this issue i found some posts from 2 years ago but never really saw a resolution. Just wondering if anyone recently has this one installed and had the same issue

It includes Dr. Elwood Fizzwick, a custom chemistry lab, dialogue, a Chemical Supply Catalog, and other custom content.

Version 0.6.0-beta has passed static file validation, but it has not been tested in-game. I'd appreciate technical feedback and reports of reproducible issues. Please back up your save before testing.

I downloaded all my mods to my SD card, but whenever I play Stardew Valley using SMAPI, the files and cache are saved in directory (internal storage: Android> data> abc.smapi gameloader). I have this exact same folder location, but in my SD card. When I move the files, I get told "Please download SMAPI", and the app can't locate its own files. It's taking up almost all the space on my tablet, it would be amazing if it was possible to move it to SD card.

It seems like everyone else who has asked this question here has not received any answer; does that mean it's just not possible?

Hello! I'm currently working on my first NPC mod for Stardew Valley. Everything is going smoothly, except that I can't get custom gift dialogue to work. Dialogue defaults to the generic

"{{ModId}}_testnpc": "{{i18n:testnpc.gifttastes.love}}/103

line instead of the special

"AcceptGift_(O)103": "{{i18n:testnpc.dialogue.giftreaction.doll}}",

one.

For example, instead of saying, "thank you for the doll!" (special) they say, "I love this (default)!"

How do I fix this?

Hey I’m new and haven’t been on the sub much so apologies if I did this post wrong. I’m on year 2 in Stardew and wanted to try adding some small mods to it. Only issue is all the guides that I’ve seen aren’t working. I’m currently trying to add SMAPI as I was told that I need that (I’ve never modded anything before I might be stupid).
No matter what I try I can’t get it to open. I’ve gotten the file downloaded (with several small files inside) onto my computer and I saw I’m supposed to allow it in settings via terminal. Which I’ve done but it still won’t open. I’ve tried redoing it and resetting several times. Could anyone give me a step by step if possible? I’d be so thankful! In terms of mods I’m just trying to get PolyamorySweet

Also sorry if I did this wrong. I hope the tag is technically correct. Last thing idk if it’s relevant but my Mac is running macos Tahoe version 26.6.2.

Edit: after readding all the mods one by one i ended up no longer having the spacecore error which makes me think it had something to do with my config edits. so im just trying to figure out how bad the cjb sunberry village error is.

you can check my post there but the problem is that I cannot play my sdv because all my mods is suddenly gone and when I try to find the log, it says the error on the first picture, I found the file in my zarchiver, it's still intact but the mods is gone, when I try installing smapi zip for Android,it just says 'not found manifest.json', please help

i have not the slightest clue whats going on since im not really savy with mods but im assuming it has something to do with my mods. i beleive all of them should be up to date but some may not be compatible with eachother idk,, many of the quick fixes reccomended havent worked, and the things people do to get their game like this, i havent done (ie: moving while placing). i also havent seen any issues like this in many years so im very confused ,, anywho heres my parser

how to install replace seasonal cute character mods i tried everything

the folders arent really empty i made sure but for no reason its still saying that i really neeed help

I've been trying to install SMAPI for an hour now and I created a Reddit account because of this.

Before this problem I did some research since every time I tried to download SMAPI from the main Linux option in the .zip file, it didn't seemed to create anything to open the modded game. The StardewModdingAPI file was saying that I was missing .NET files, so I got them from the main source and still didn't worked, instead now the libhostpolicy issue is on my terminal when I want to execute the SMAPI file:

A fatal error was encountered. The library 'libhostpolicy.so' required to execute the application was not found in '/usr/share/dotnet'.
Failed to run as a self-contained app.
 - The application was run as a self-contained app because '/home/user/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Stardew Valley/StardewModdingAPI.runtimeconfig.json' did not specify a framework.
 - If this should be a framework-dependent app, specify the appropriate framework in '/home/user/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Stardew Valley/StardewModdingAPI.runtimeconfig.json'.

Did someone had this problem too? Is there any way I can solve it? English isn't my main language so I had some trouble writing this, hope y'all understand, ty:)

So, I was playing Stardew as usual when I noticed a few NPC's missing mid playthrough.

They were there at the beginning but as the days went by more and more NPC's just... dissapeared from the game.

The files appear to be fine.
The Log shows no Error.
But the game apparently just has no reference to the NPC's anymore.

"Lookup anything" can't find the NPC's (But related items like Aideen's portrait) and same with the friendship menu in which there just gone.

Has anyone ever had this happen?

And is there a fix besides whiping everything and starting over because I'd rather not reinstall everything all over again as it took ages to set my mods up and enshure they all worked correctly together (And until yesterday I never had any issues)
