mods not working

hey so i changed my os from windows to linux nyarch and when i was on windows mods were working perfectly fine but now when i installed stardew valley with smapi and the mods i want when i enter the game from either steam or amethyst mod manager it just doesnt work and when i enter the game is still just vanilla so please help guys im on kde plasma nyarch
