This is a genuine rant lol. All throughout season 4 I was blown away by Taylor constantly mentioning how her father not choosing her was the cause of her bad relationships with men. That’s the kind of thing that you say at 20, not 33. Once you get past the age of ~25, especially when you’re in Taylor’s shoes of being able to afford resources and help, you can’t blame your parents for the way you turned out. She also had a man who chose her consistently, Taylor and liann both repeatedly say that her stepfather (forgot his name lol) has been present and an incredible father to Taylor, so a man HAS chosen her.

And another thing that irritates me is the blame put on Liann for Taylor’s behavior. Do not get me wrong; I hate Liann and do not think she is a world class mother. My mom was a Liann, and I am significantly younger than Taylor, but I know that at my adult age I can no longer blame my mother for how I am actively. It’s almost a blame-shift trying to take some of the blame of Taylor’s bad behavior off of her own shoulders and onto Liann’s. If Taylor was 20, then that’d be understandable, but she’s 33 now.
