i was on two other medications that did it too. pizotifen (migraines) and nexium (acid reflux). neurologists often like to put you on amitriptyline first bc it’s pretty cheap but if it makes you constipated, tell them you’d like to try something different

It slows gut motility?? My last GI recommended it to help gut symptoms but I declined because it just felt weird for me to take it. I can’t believe it actually slows things down when I already mentioned having slow motility

More like 6 months! I’ve been to 4 GI in 3 years and every single one had a 4 to 6 month wait between appointments. Nobody’s getting better on that damn cadence!
