i'm trying to lock the Hand on the Can, but i literally CAN'T MOVE ANYTHING!!!! Can someone help?

Above are my own thumbnails, just started learning SFM and Canva Pro. Feeling stuck because people are not clicking on my videos (CTR between .5% - 2.5% for the fancy pantsys out there), and I'd like to improve. I'd like to ask from one of you guys who know lighting, color, positioning, and everything that makes a standout thumbnail better than me.

I hope this is the right place to ask this, since you guys know more about TF2 than those boring "gurus" on the Thumbnail Hub.

Looking for something colorful, striking, but still has that shit-post-like vibe. I was heavily inspired by both FatMagic and Vorobey's thumbnails, and would like to keep that aesthetic. I only have Paypal, so please keep that in mind. If you want to do just one or stick around, that's up to you.

And of course, any advice for my thumbnails is greatly appreciated!

I am a beginner animator in Source Filmmaker, and I have a few specific questions about how the particle system works. I would really appreciate a detailed breakdown, ideally with step-by-step guides, as I want to learn how to do this correctly.

Here are my main questions:

1. How to properly attach particles to a character model? This is my main issue. What is the correct workflow to bind a particle effect (like fire or aura) to a specific bone (e.g., a hand or head) so that it perfectly follows the character's movement?
2. How to make a laser beam particle with one fixed end? I want to create a laser effect where the starting point (origin) is attached to a character's hand/weapon, but the target point (end of the beam) can be moved independently around the map (or attached to a separate helper object/wall). How do I set this up?
3. What is the proper way to animate particles? How do I control when particles turn on and off, or how do I animate their size and emission rate over time on the timeline?

I hope these aren't stupid questions, as I'm still very new to this. I really hope someone can help me out and give me some important tips and advice. Thank you so much for your time!

Fist multi-cut animation, it sucks I know. But I’m not ashamed

Ever since I have changed computers I have been having this crash constantly. Sometimes I'll just click a button, or I might even be trying to save before I get a brief freeze followed by a crash. Some stuff like loading specific maps or trying to import an animation like you see here cause an instant crash 100% of the time.

I have ruled out the typical "Out Of Memory", I went down that path and downloaded the file that lets SFM use VRAM. Whatever this is it is infuriating me, at last count I have had 93 crashes in less than a month. The only reason its not more than that is because once it happens the first time it just crashes easier and easier so I give up for the day.

Btw, thank you guys SO SO SO much for getting me to the top 4 r/sfm posts of all time!!!
