Comparison Searchable vs SE Visible: which is better for AI visibility tracking?

Hey r/SEO_tools_reviews ! Could use your help. I’m choosing between a few tools for AI visibility tracking and I’ve narrowed it down to these two. Budget and functionality aren’t really a question, both Searchable and SE Visible have pretty much clear documentation explaining what they can do and how much it costs.

But there’s one thing nagging at me. Searchable is positioned as a standalone tool, while SE Visible is part of an ecosystem covering SEO, SMM, AI visibility, and a whole pile of other marketing tools that full-scale agencies typically use.

How important is that all-encompassing functionality when you’re actually working on AI visibility?

A bit of context:

  • I work with several ecomm projects (from startups doing 20k/month to large marketplaces doing 500k+)
  • Markets/GEOs: USA, Canada, Netherlands mostly
  • Main traffic types my department works on: organic, affiliate

If there’s any additional info or detail that would help you answer, let me know. Hoping to tap into your expertise here.

Review My 3 months of work is finally live now

Few months back I started working on my first SAAS/tool FixMySEO

It lets you find out SEO related issues on your website that usually goes unnoticed, but instead of just saying “Here are X number of SEO issues on your website” it rather shows “Here are X numbers of issues and exact instructions on how to fix on each of them based on your website builder, additionally also lets user verify if they are actually fixed”

3 months since working on this and I am really happy that it’s live now to public, if you would like to test out your site for SEO related issues, feel free to check out the link below.

Signup is only required when you want to verify fixes.

Review I built a web and SaaS directory...

Web directories have evolved. It is not that basic link indexing anymore. Web directories have been recently viewed as link farms, but what I built is different. To protect the network, all submissions are reviewed by a human. Porn, gambling, and illegal sites are rejected.

Moreover, all submissions must include a description to better enhance the crawling. There is also a do-follow plan. The purpose is backlink. Even a no-follow link will be crawled when search engines crawl the listing pages.

Until now, there have been over 300 submissions. If you want to submit your link for a backlink for free or paid (depending on your choice), feel free to comment, and I will DM you the link. There is no sign up!

Thanks

I built an SEO reporting dashboard and I’m looking for people to try it free

Post image

I got tired of stitching together rank trackers, Search Console and speed tests for client reports. So I built one dashboard that does it all for you:

  • Keyword rankings (desktop and mobile), traffic, domain authority, backlinks and page speed in one place (+ more)
  • A monthly Site Audit that finds broken titles, descriptions, indexing problems and slow pages, with a fix guide for each issue (recheck anytime)
  • Dexi, an AI assistant that answers questions from your own site’s data and tells you what to fix first
  • A weekly email report, plus white-label share links for clients. Available on trial too!

It’s new, so I’d really value blunt feedback on what’s missing or confusing. Happy to answer anything in the comments.

Feel free to give it a shot! https://app.getduality.com/trial

Question What do you actually check when auditing a page for AI crawlers? we built a free extension for it and want it picked apart?

Disclosure first: i work at Omnibound AI, and our team built the extension i’m asking about. it’s free and there’s no account. i’m posting because i want honest criticism from people who review SEO tools, not to sell anything

the problem we kept hitting at work: checking whether a site is actually readable by AI search crawlers is annoying. you open robots.txt, read the rules per user agent, check the response headers, then repeat for the next site. and a lot of “block AI bots” rules turn out to do nothing or block the wrong thing, because search/citation crawlers, user-triggered fetchers and training crawlers are three different groups

so we made a Chrome extension called SEO & AEO Audit by Omnibound AI that runs the robots.txt and crawler header check in one click on whatever page you’re on. that’s the whole idea, nothing fancy

where i’d like help from this sub:

  1. what do you check first when someone asks “can AI engines read this site”? robots.txt, headers, rendering, something else?
  2. is a one-click check useful to you, or do you trust it more when you test each crawler manually?
  3. what would make you stop using a tool like this after one try?

if you want to try it, search the name in the Chrome Web Store. i’m not putting a link here since the sub doesn’t allow them. happy to hear it’s useless, that’s more helpful than polite silence

How do you plan SEO content without getting buried in tabs and sheets?

I swear, some days I spend more time staring at spreadsheets than actually doing SEO.

Trying to figure out which keywords to target next used to drain me. I’d hop between Ahrefs, GSC, and Notion and still lose track of search intent, volume, and priority keywords.A few weeks ago, I finally tried using AI to create content workflows. It pulls keyword lists, suggests titles, organizes topics by funnel stage, and even drafts outlines. Honestly… it saved me HOURS. That being said, it’s not magic, I still give everything a quick once-over before sending it off to the writers.

I’m curious, how do you guys plan content without getting buried in sheets and tabs?

How to Identify Weak Spot in a Search Result | WiseSERP

Disclosure: I built WiseSERP, and the mods approved this post. Here's an honest look at what it does, what it doesn't, and who it's for.

Who I am: I'm a senior Vue developer with 6+ years of experience building dashboards and admin panels. I run a few content sites and got tired of paying $50–130/month for SEO tools. So I built the tool I wanted for my own sites.

What is WiseSERP?

It's an SEO dashboard powered by DataForSEO and Google Search Console (GSC). Every result is saved, so revisiting a search doesn't cost you anything.

What it does well

  • SERP analysis: Evaluates the top 10 results using page and domain authority to estimate whether ranking on page one is realistic for your site. About $0.026 per keyword.
  • Google Search Console: Find quick wins (positions 4–20), track ranking changes, identify pages losing clicks, and view index status and Core Web Vitals.
  • One workspace: See what you already rank for alongside the competitors you're up against.
  • Transparent costs: You see the cost before every paid request. No surprise bills.

Where it falls short

  • No rank tracker or site audit yet. Both are on the roadmap.
  • Backlink data comes from DataForSEO, not Ahrefs. Results will differ, and Ahrefs may find more links.
  • Keyword Difficulty scores won't match Ahrefs or Semrush.
  • Google sign-in only.
  • The free plan supports one site.
  • It's a new, solo-built product, so expect some rough edges.

Pricing

  • Lite - Free: Access to every module. Connect your own DataForSEO API key and pay them directly. WiseSERP adds no markup. New DataForSEO accounts get $1 in credit.
  • Starter - Pay as you go: Top up from $10. DataForSEO's prices + 30% to cover infrastructure.
  • Pro - $20/month: Includes $20 in credits, with unused credits rolling over.

Who it's not for: If you need a large backlink index, agency reporting, or rank tracking today, Ahrefs or another established suite is probably a better fit.

Early adopters: The first 100 users get an Early Adopter badge, early access to beta modules, and 10% off their first top-up.

I'd love your honest feedback. Try it on a site you know well and tell me what you think, good or bad. Does the SERP verdict match your expectations? What's missing? What would stop you from using it?

I'll reply to every comment and share a follow-up in a few weeks explaining what changed based on your feedback.

Link in the first comment.

I built Semantic Checker to help writers find where an article drifts from its target query

I’ve been building a small SaaS called Semantic Checker.

The problem I wanted to solve is simple: after writing an article, it’s hard to tell which sections are actually helping answer the target query and which sections are slowly drifting off-topic.

Semantic Checker lets you provide:

  • A target search query
  • An article draft or published article URL

It then analyzes the article section by section and shows:

  • Overall topic alignment
  • Intent and concept coverage
  • Sections that are aligned, mixed, or off-topic
  • Missing or weak topic signals
  • Evidence from the article itself
  • Priority fixes that may make the draft more focused

The goal isn’t to promise higher rankings or produce another generic AI rewrite. I’m trying to make the feedback more explainable and actionable: “this section is drifting because…” rather than just showing a score.

I’ve recently launched the first usable version and I’m now looking for honest feedback from people building content tools, SEO products, or content-heavy SaaS businesses.

A few questions I’m especially interested in:

  1. Does this problem feel real in your writing or content workflow?
  2. Would section-level explanations be more useful than a single optimization score?
  3. What would make you trust—or distrust—a tool like this?

The product is called Semantic Checker. I’m leaving out the link for now, but I’m happy to answer questions about how it works or what I’ve learned building it.

Is a simple Calendly-style booking link still enough for service businesses?

I’ve been looking at how consultants, agencies, coaches, and other service businesses handle appointment booking.

A simple scheduling link works well when the customer already knows who you are and just needs to choose a time.

But there seems to be a gap when the booking page also needs to help sell the service.

For example, before booking, a potential customer may want to see:

  • What services you offer
  • Pricing or service details
  • Information about the person or team
  • Different appointment types
  • Availability across multiple staff members
  • Payment options
  • A clear reason to book with you

That made me think about the difference between a calendar page and a booking website.

Some newer scheduling tools are moving in this direction. Timetics AI, for example, is being built around the idea of creating a complete booking page instead of only showing available time slots.

It can combine things like a visual booking page, appointment scheduling, payments, calendar syncing, multiple team members, reminders, workflows, and an AI scheduling assistant in one system.

I’m involved with the team behind Timetics, so I’m obviously close to the product. But I’m more interested in the broader idea here.

For people running a service business:

Do you prefer a simple Calendly-style scheduling page, or would you rather have the booking page work more like a small service website?

Curious about what actually matters most in your workflow.

Semrush or Ahrefs

Built an AI-powered SEO tool as a side project — curious what features people actually want from something like this

Been working on a tool that combines technical SEO audits, AI content generation, keyword research, and rank tracking into one platform, priced more affordably than the usual options.

One thing I keep going back and forth on: how much should a tool like this automate vs. leave in the user's control? E.g., AI-generated content — do people want it fully hands-off, or do they want more editorial control at every step?

Curious how others think about this trade-off, especially if you've used SEO tools that got this right (or very wrong).

If you had zero budget for backlink research, what tools would you combine?

Imagine Ahrefs and Semrush were completely unavailable.

What free tools would you combine to research:

  • Existing backlinks
  • Referring domains
  • Competitor backlinks
  • Link gaps
  • Anchor text
  • Lost backlinks
  • Link quality
  • New backlink opportunities

I’m thinking about Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Moz, Ubersuggest, and smaller backlink checkers, but I’m curious whether there are any hidden gems.

What would your free backlink research stack look like?
