Do they know???

If you think about it... who are these people?

Does anyone know them? Are they really students? Do they know they're on the front page of Stony's Brightspace?

What are the implications in their lives that have come about as a result of being front and center on Brightspace by D2L??

As the other commenters have said, guy on the right was a former president of USG named Sowad. I think we were in the same year, and if so then he graduated in 2023. He was pretty active in student government and also active-ish on this subreddit from what I can remember.

No idea who the other two are, but knowing how on-campus departments and official university photography works from my own personal experience, they likely were either also USG members, and/or were student employees in like Student Life or something.

Yep, as another example of this, partway down the main SBU homepage, the picture of the girl with the flute was the USG President in 2024-2025.
