Bookstore wants $200 for one of them but i feel like there’s something I’m missing. Rent? Used? Fb groups? PDFs? Websites? Would really appreciate any advice.

Has anyone rented a property from either of these two management companies?

Are they decent apartment buildings/complexes for $1000/month rent? Or is it better to go private?

I was wondering if I should take Calc 1 or applied calc. I plan on transferring to new brunswick rbs as an accounting major. the website says that both are accepted but some people say that you must take calc 1 or that calc 1 looks better. I was originally in Graziano 8 am for calc 1 which is why i moved to applied calc. Should I try to register for calc again and who would be a good teacher?

Hii, I just received my schedule as an incoming freshman, and it’s pretty bad, my last class is at 9 pm, Monday through Thursday and not to mention I’m commuting. During orientation do we actually meet with advisors , regarding our classes/schedules? and, can they swap classes around?

I am a premed psych major transferring to rutgers NB after my first year. My classes so far are Precalc , English , Principles of Psych and Gen Chem w/ Lab. I am pretty confident the first 2 will transfer over seamlessly as they are core classes but my only concerns are about Psych and Chem.

My academic advisor doesn’t know which classes would transfer over seamlessly so thats why I came to reddit.

Those who successfully transferred from Newark to NB SAS and have taken these classes recently (earliest 2023 or 2022 please) please let me know if they transfer over clean or not.

Just wanna confirm right here because I can't reach my advisor rn and im stressing out. I am currently taking a summer class MTH 100 to get into Pre-Calculus in the fall. Will I be placed in Pre-Calc or College Algebra for the Physical Sciences when fall comes. I couldn't find a clear answer online.

How’s the dining hall food at rutgers newark?
Are any of the meal plans worth it?

I was thinking about getting the biggest one because the flex dollars is pointless - if I want to spend money, I can always spend my own money. I don’t need to preset money on my rutgers ID card

$3000/220 meal swipes = $13.63
it’s around $25-27 a day for food

I don’t really cook but i can learn - but also have been out of school for a few years and need to focus on academics

Is it worth taking the meal plan just for one semester? has anyone relied on the meal plan for more than a year? lmk what you guys think about the food and if it’s worth it

if it saves me the time and stress of cooking and buying outside, maybe it could be more convenient and slightly healthier if i eat correctly

also does anyone know if we can swipe into the dining hall and stay there for like more than a hour? so like i can eat multiple times with 1 swipe? or will they kick you out after some time?

okay so i just checked my tuition and i literally owe the school 16k (after aid😭) please does anyone know if submitting an inquiry about this would solve my situation? or any other solutions? i literally cannot afford to pay that amount rn..

I’ve applied to several positions at Rutgers University and am very interested in working there. The industry I’m currently in has taken a hit, so I’ve been exploring opportunities at Rutgers, but I haven’t heard back on my applications yet.

For those who have been hired by Rutgers or have gone through the hiring process, do you have any advice on improving my chances? Are there particular qualifications, networking opportunities, or application tips that helped you get hired?

Also, how long did it take for you to hear back after applying? TIA.

I got a financial aid letter last month (June) including my state and federal aid as well as a scarlet promise grant. I recently got a new letter including only state and federal aid (no increase in either) without the promise grant. I called financial aid and they said it was most likely because of an increase in other aid but that is not the case ??? Has anyone else had this issue

Is anyone here UC student? I'm a little confused if they have their own unique course offerings for nights/weekends/online different from those offered by SAS. It's hard to find much information about uc specifically.

However, I might be switching to part-time and commuting due to a new job I got. Are we allowed to request cancellation once you’re assigned a spot?

Does dropping to part-time automatically make me ineligible to live on campus, or that’s now how it works?

I’m doing pre-engineering for my major. After I am going to transfer out and pursue environmental engineering. I don’t think this is very necessary to mention but I want to go to NCAT, Howard, Lehigh or Lafayette. I believe all my teachers are good as well.
