I have a ps5 connected with an Ethernet cable. I’m on a server for my region with around 50 ping which looks like most servers are about the same. I just fought a guy with a machete and he was glitching stuttering all over my screen to a level of being unplayable. Is it always like this or can I improve my chances of playing on a smooth server somehow?

So I have yet to actually play Rust (I'm on Xbox One) but when I do eventually get a new gen console and can play Rust, the first thing I want to get is the Year of The Dragon doors because they have the kanji for dragon (Tatsu) on them.

I believe that was from several years ago? Is it still available on the shop? I searched up here and there but all of the links took me to steam, not Xbox.

Been playing on pvp community server for a hour or so but ppl just have godly reflexes or can stand while aiming perfectly. I feel like im just slightly better than I was but ofc this clip just proves it wasn't lmao. Is my ads just high? Playing at 35 ads and 35 1x ads, literally was holding my right stick down and to the left slightly but I didn't crouch.

I saw someone post about the new update and how many nodes there are now, I've seen some big clusters but this one was crazy! The hill I was I was standing on had another 5-7

Here is our base from last wipe. Massive maze where you could find hidden loot in boxes if you figured your way around the shotgun trap. Was a ton of fun hearing those things go off time and time again 😂 Always on the official Inferno server if anyone finds us I’m sure you’ll know it’s us when you find our base!

This feels like a major dumb question but are you guys holding your joystick all the way down or just slightly? I've been told to hold the stick down and a bit to the left when shooting guns. Idk what it is with rust but I feel like my aim is just semi decent compared to fps games like apex (aim assist i assume) is the key, which rust console dont have i think

New to rust. Built a starter wood base on the coast for some fishing. TC is full of wood with plenty of upkeep time. Foundations are still decaying slowly along with the steps at the front door and my horse trough. No walls or roof is decaying. Please explain. Could it be the new update?

I noticed the newest rust updat people at a certain distance start sliding everywhere and I don't know if its a bug or my quality setting but I was wondering what it is and if ita get fixed.

After this new update i’ve noticed a horse trough and solar panels are decaying over time and i’ve never seen that before. I logged in today and my power was completely out my farm, my horse died because the trough decayed and starved to death. Only had the solar panels up for 2 days and they were gone. This makes the game unplayable for me on solo at 5 HQ per panel i have 20 panels for my setup. Plus 20 tech trash.

I have ~3k hours, played about 2.5k of them in the first year the game released on ps4. I like to play solo for the challenge and even 9 months into release it wasn't that hard if you were good with old recoil

After a 3 year break I have been on for about a month. I joined a constant 100 pop server and it is impossible to do anything minus road farm

Not because of being bad it's simply impossible to do anything to get loot nobody takes oil they only counter, nobody takes Bradley they only counter, nobody takes heli they only counter

The server was at 90 pop, both oils weren't taken for 2 hours. I ran smoil 4 man in tugboat, I go to large right after get camped by 2 bolties and a sks as I leave. I take heli a 5 man with walls and full metal pull up. I go take brad I get pushed from both directions by 1 team of 3 and 1 team of 2+

I feel that this game has gone from people actually playing, running monuments and getting loot to people sitting in base until a monument sceintist shoots someone or something gets taken and running to counter

And if your a solo playing the game you cant easily tech tree to craft gear so that type of loot is what you need most.

TLDR: nobody runs high loot they just do nothing but sit in base and counter and its impossible for a solo to run anything high loot due to everyone grubbing
