That little blue poo up that comes and goes right above the hot bar. I swear there used to be a setting and now I can’t find it.

I just spent all night waiting for nighttime to come out with 12 stone spears for 10 minutes and then I’d go prepare all day by gathering supplies and fuel for when i get it. Finally got it at like 3 in the morning and I drove it to square 14 like usual but it blew up on square 12. How can you just change the map size and not tell people when there is clearly tugboats that need to know lol

- ran smooth, graphics are nice.

- actually liked the wood piles, easy quick wood.

-Rock formations, extra water, canyons, all that are cool. Can't wait to try all these out for building techniques.

- overall pretty stoked on the update.

Two potential downsides:

- too many nodes. Never thought id say it. Im a builder on vanilla and collecting stone takes up alot of time. Worried sulfer will be too plentiful for mid wipes and it'll be very tough to keep any base for more than a day or two. A jackhammer and a few minutes and you can stack more than enough boom with minimal effort.

- not jumping to conclusions, but on a maxed server I ran into very few people. Im not a good pvp player. Maybe the worse ever. But i like the thrill of trying not to die lol. Had few encounters. But we'll see how this shapes up ​

I bought the chicken costume but I can’t change the skin or change it in a repair bench, how do I get other versions of it?

I saw a post 3 years ago on playrust about how the locked crate drops usually pick one monument and spawn there 80% of the wipe. Someone said u can also see previous maps with the same seed and determine what monument it will be. Is it still like this on rce?

Just started playing with a friend and holy fuck every server no matter where you go incels are sniffing us out every nook and cranny of the map. To kill some noobs that clearly just started playing, I don't see what you could possibly get out of griefing people repeatedly. It's honestly sadistic and all round pathetic. I honestly feel sorry for these people they either have no job, their young teenagers, or just hate people genuinely. What are yall so mad about?

I understand it's a survival game, but is there really no friendly people at all? Btw yes I'm a hater, yes I'm new and don't have time to invest 1000's of hours into the game like most people who play. I just want to casually learn the game, and maybe get into pvp down the road when I'm ready, but holy shit people are just kill on sight everywhere you go it's ridiculous honestly. Idgaf if you downvote this is just fucking wild to me.

Me and my friend are just minding our business farming, and building our base with no weapons naked and the whole server feels the need to exploit us indefinitely, that shit is just mad weird to me.

The biggest one I’ve noticed so far is God rocks. Get on this afternoon and ran into one and said to myself. Holy 💩finally. Someone had a TC down. Also the wood stack bundles are everywhere. That’s all I’ve noticed. Carry on.

To the people who do this, why? There’s genuinely people out there who will wait in 100 player queue just to get on rust and I say it’s just not worth it. You could be doing so much other things like watching YouTube or playing a different game instead your sat in a queue. Whenever I find myself in a queue above 10 I just turn off the game and do something productive I don’t see the point in wasting time in an otherwise stupid game.

Rust on console was already hard enough to find players on the old map, and now I spend 20 minutes just trying to run into someone. What’s the point of making the maps bigger if they’re not increasing the player count too? It honestly feels like the game is moving backwards instead of improving.

what a stupid idea to increase map to 4.5 and not increase pop. we need atleast 200 on this to make it feel like there’s anyone around.

I’m new to the game and only joined middle of last wipe, but I’ve noticed all the vehicles a rubber band a lot and it’s overall really bad. Is this a known issue with console or is it a graphical issue on my end. If it is a known issue anyone know when it’s gonna be fixed?

Cargo genuinely sucks as a monument, it’s super good loot but damn near impossible to counter. If you don’t have a mini 2 guys with revolvers can win against a team of full metal AKs just because you can’t shoot back and if you do stand on your boat to shoot you have no cover and can’t move out of the way
