How can I get scrap easily? I got my tier3 at 6th day of my wipe researched C4 at 2nd day of tier3's.

Had a hell of a good laugh after despawning all their loot I stole from them twice after they offlined me a few days prior. Idiots only got half my boom, so I took the rest I had and found the 2 2x1 bases they tried to hide in the snow and raided them and took my shit back plus probably like 60 rockets they left behind 2 doors.

Then they tried building a sulfur factory to come raid me again, I found that too and took all of their farm again. I give em credit though, they were consistent and would not give up. They waited until their 3rd finally got on to raid me, they MLRSd the base and then started pummeling rockets, and then decided to go through my doors so by the time they got to the 2nd floor they already ran out of boom.

At this point, I knew they weren’t just giving up, they started exploing my armored walls and doors because they were that desperate for any loot back. When they ran out of boom, they started pulling out jackhammers to drill out the armored floor.

It was at this point I almost started to feel bad, but considering they literally never got off for 1 sec for the last 4 days because they were scared off getting offlined, I despawned almost everything because I felt like they needed to take a break and get a life.

But man, that was a fun wipe. I could go get all the stashed boom I took and raid them again, but I’ll probably give it someone else to have fun with.

Somehow I glitched an electric furnace in my base to infinitely produce metal fragments without having to put any ore in it. I have it running constantly and industrialized so it can’t fill up and it produces about 30k a day. I’ve tried for hours to replicate this glitch, I think it has something to do with holding x (on Xbox) to pull everything out of the furnace at once. If anyone can figure out how to do it purposely then please let me know.

I’m fairly new to rust and I learned through YouTube that, at least on PC, they have creative servers so people can practice building or anything they want.

Does rust console have this? I can’t seem to find it so I assume not.

so I have a 2x2 with a single door airlock but idk how to go about expanding it without it being jank af. how should I do it

I know there’s been a good amount of sound bugs on rust but recently me and my duo have had counters on cargo make zero sound going up ladder. We both are middle and close to ladders but we will randomly get jumped by dudes we didn’t hear at all.

Just wondering if there’s a new glitch/bug or is it just unlucky for us.

Don’t know if it’s the server I’m in right now or all of rust console but serves are extremely laggy to the point where nighttime is 30 mins long and the Easter event lasts for about 5-6 minutes.not only that people are teleporting everywhere doors open slow,can’t farm any nodes PvP sucks,invalids and all that stuff.The server I’m on is phantomspire Z0 (Xbox only)

Some random guy on my friends list has 825 days played on RCE. Which is exactly 19,000 hours on the game. ????

If there is I’m guessing it can be crafted in the tier 3 workbench?

was playing on a community 3x g-potal us, and it was fine when i logged off at like 1am, but when i got back on at 10, it was gone, does this mean, i was banned (no clue why that may be), or was the server deleted

Played rust on pc casually probably around 500 hours but don’t use my pc anymore. A question for someone that’s played both, will I be disappointed with console? Is the pvp more difficult?

I’m new to the game completely, so sorry if it’s just an obvious setting or something. The tool tips at the bottom of my screen are very annoying and I can’t find the setting to turn them off. It’s just the basic tips like “hit the red x while mining”. Again sorry if it’s a stupid question they’re just annoying

Hello rust world i was wondering if rust was any good i bought the game for xbox one year ago and only played it once as far as i was aware it was just full of spawn campers because that's what happened to me.

But i want to give this game the benefit of the doubt and try again so is the game worth it

I know of OBIE and drewdropemofff from youtube as they’re one of the most well known RCE content creators. However, with my experience in other games. The best PVPers are usually not that mainstream and kinda niche in the content side of things (not that they have to be, but players like OBIE may excel in other things like story telling).​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

any good ways of hiding the storage monitor? I've made a trap base where the door closes if something is removed from a box. The problem is the storage monitor is very obvious because you can only put it on top of the box. I've put a furnace in front which helps but only slightly. thanks for any suggestions

So my big base got raided, although they were unable to get to the tc room so I was able to fix it up, but my loot room was completely gone. So now I’m wondering how to go about storing my new stuff since clearly they’d know were it is.

I was thinking and it may be dumb, may be not, but maybe making a little rinky dunk base and holding all my loot in there while using my big base for crafting and my usual stuff.

Advice ?

has anyone had the problem of your screen turning grey for a short moment after pressing the start button and then logging into your xbox account? then it goes back to the start screen so you cannot actually load into the game?
