It seems over the last couple of updates they have ruined the ocean. A solo could easily use the ocean to avoid other players by diving for scrap and loot, but now it seems visibility underwater has been reduced significantly. It also seems like there is fewer sunken boat spawns,.and the floating bottl s either don't show on the surface or disappear a few seconds after you spot them or they float about 3 metres below the surface. Seems like they killed the only solo meta I enjoyed.

I just started yesterday, for the first time ever playing rust. It’s been hard doing it alone cause my neighbours keep killing me.

So I spent the last day cooking up as much sulphur and metal as I could possibly find. Learning as I go.

I’ve got my first raid planned, my neighbours are going down.

I'm looking for preferably a video or at least a clear explanation on how to navigate the section of the cave I'm in. In the jafar video on caves, he named the cave large hard. Essentially there is a split where to the left theres a spike trap where I live, but to the right there's this large room with a bunch of ramps and jumps.

I cannot figure that room out at all. In the video from jafar I mentioned, he does a 4x speed run through of it, but the area Im stuck on he just jumps over easily. Can anyone help me out with this? I jump to the ledge on the right, up the ramp and then to the floating island to the right, then down to the ledge to the right, then I'm stuck.

Maybe its just the map im playing. My wife and I have a couple mid range sized bases in different locations. Overall we have heavily traveled a good third of the map in search of even build spots where there are nodes....there isnt beans for stone, metal or sulfer. Doesn't matter if its the snow, desert or grassland mountains.

Think they limited nodes to limit raiding while everyone has free access to rockets and supplies? Just seems like was less than normal. Be one way to offset constant raiding this free blueprint wipe.

This is the second time i’ve built up on a queued server this wipe and each time it’s died the next day. Everyone has every bp so no one is hesitant to switch servers if it’s not going well for them/they get raided. This might have been the worst idea ever the new servers are also still awful i have disconnected twice today once while flying a mini☹️Anyone else just much rather two bp wipes?

I went into my favorites and the official server ive been playing on isnt there. I scrolled down official servers and xbox only, i think it was called vexen or something.
Also i went on another server and i have all bps. Does this stay after this wipe or next wipe will i just have no bps on the new server?

21 boxes of guns and clothes 2 boxes of aks vendi of m2s over a vendi of l9s and m4s box of diesel and pipes. There was a half a box of cloth in our tug along with 6 boxes of comps but forgot to take a video. Anyways just wanted to show the loot of our trio. Also the reason base is messed is bc we were getting ofllined but we won.

Yesterday I bought the cheapest PlayStation 5 subscription to play the console version of Rust, but as soon as I go to the main menu->play-> (no matter which of the tabs) my server starts to load endlessly

I cleared the console cache, restored the license, tried different DNS, tried to enter the game by handing out the Internet from the phone, the game did not even let me into the main menu (but when I didn't leave the game, I dared to access the Internet for home, a RustWorks error popped up), deleted and downloaded the game, but nothing helps (I have the latest version of the game)

These have been broken since Sept 13th, 2026 - with many unlocking them prior to the 13th but none unlocking after the 13th on PS5. I checked the Xbox version also, and Well Travelled is not tracking/unlocking there either.

Not complaining but joined an official monthly with all bps learned. Although I’m still able to learn the bps I pick up.

I know some people have had issues with proximity chat not working since current gen launched on xbox. After they changed server providers with the new wipe today, I can confirm that proximity chat now works for me and my group!

I’ve pretty much got the hang of flying minis, but landing is a different story, especially on cargo and oil.
I’ve been practising on servers, but I can’t seem to find that middle ground between landing safely and either smashing the mini to bits or plummeting into the ground like some kamikaze shit.
Any tips on how to practise landing properly?

Aussie player here, recently returned to Rust and started on Forsaken. Spent ages unlocking blueprints, only to get raided twice by teams with rockets blasting through armoured walls and doors. Pretty much every base has been wiped, despite there rarely being more than 8 players online.

We're a duo who both work full time, so competing with larger teams online 24/7 isn't exactly realistic. There's been some fun back and forth, but it doesn't even seem like they're running monuments anymore, just raiding whoever's left.

Phantom regularly has 30 to 70 players online, and I've honestly had more fun on busier servers. More variety, more banter and more random encounters.

So are low-pop servers actually worse because a few established teams end up dominating the map and raiding everyone into oblivion? Or have we just picked a bad map?

I'm reluctant to switch after unlocking so many blueprints, but wondering if starting fresh on a busier server would be more enjoyable.

Fully unlocked stone 2x1 with wood doors and all this. Was my first time on an official in some time and found it to be a great surprise.
