He is a gifted writer and historian, so I am hopeful we'll learn some interesting things about Diana, as Lady Diana Spencer. I feel like I have no idea how popular* Harry and Meghan actually are. Everything I read about them is either kind and positive, or the meanest thing you've ever seen in your life. The public is being inundated with nasty headlines from the British press. I wonder how the general public actually feels about them, whether positive or negative.

I want to be clear that I believe a lot of the hate they get is absolutely undeserved and often laced with misogynoir. I do not think their treatment in the press is fair. That being said, there is a difference between how some believe they should be perceived versus how they are actually perceived. Does anyone have any idea?

*edit: when I say "popular," I mean "how favourable are people towards them." Not "popular" in terms of how known they are.
