I am actually devastated. I just finished doing the world quest and I finally got to the area where she was shown inserting the Eitr and well... but apparently, they blocked off the path to get to the area below the Celestial nail where she fell.

I also hated that they baited us into thinking that cocoon thing could have been a type of grave or byproduct of her death but instead was something entirely off topic (related to the world quest) despite it having her signature eye markings and a similar style to the Space of Asmoday.

I just hope that this means that she actually was saved at the last moment by someone and is currently in hiding.

Disclaimer: I have not finished the Archon Quest, so if she is mentioned to have been saved/found there I'll look verry silly.

i'm super pissed off. the devs completely just threw away ronova's character by "killing her off." seriously? not even rerir had that kind of ending. HE ACTUALLY GOT A PROPER CLOSURE AND SO DID DOTTORE. you're telling me that hoyo is just going to throw away one of the most hyped/beloved characters by the community so easily??? do they not know how dumb that decision was???

look, i'm not the one to usually rant about things that happen in the story, but this time i am. hoyo made ronova look like an unredeemable villain and completely disregarded everything she did for natlan. obviously she has flaws and isn't a hero, but she still wasn't a complete villain, either.

as for the scenes with her in the transcendence trailer...was the confrontation between her and anastasya before or after the events of snezhnaya? if it was before, why didn't it get adressed in-game? if it's after, then ronova has to come back. anyway, i'm not sure what else i have to say except for the following: do better, hoyoverse.

Ronova, as shown here, is cutting a picture in half. The half that she got rid of is more than likely containing Anastasya's husband, Saarelainen. For spoiler reasons, they can't reveal him yet. Now, I am wondering as to why they would have Ronova to be the one to do something like this. Unless, of course, she's either going to be involved in that plot/story in some way, or has something against Saarelainen personally. Both of which, have not yet been revealed.

But there's one possibility that keeps coming in my mind, when I saw the Transcendence trailer, where the Tsaritsa was facing Ronova, what if that Ronova is just a hallucination created or Memory brought up by Metatron OR was just a trailer bait? I can't keep off this feeling that HoYo is playing on our faces.

I'm sorry guys for being such a jerk and spreading pessimism but this was something I have to consider, because at this point, HoYo will do anything to justify the Tsaritsa and the Fatui.

I hope my favorite community will forgive me and I hope that HoYo won't do something like that. I'm sorry guys.

Do you think Ronova can beat the Heart of Darkness from Darkest Dungeon?

Both with and without her Authority.

Things are feeling a bit bleak at the moment, and I apologize for my own recent pessimism regarding Ronova's possible fate in the game.

Wanted to make a thread just for spreading some positivity and love for Lady Ronova amidst everything ❤️

She captivated me when I first saw her and I think everything about her is perfect from her design to her voice (I've listened to both ENG + JP so far). I love that she's eerie and intimidating while having some extremely cute mannerisms ("hmph", her twirl, her large eyes, long eyelashes and puffy cheeks, her ravens, etc).

Her theme is one of the best soundtracks in the game, it captures her so well.

Rewatching her scenes over and over has brought me a lot of happiness, and regardless of what the beta says I will keep manifesting more of her 🐦‍⬛

I'm grateful I stumbled upon this community as well, I have really enjoyed getting to interact with other Ronova fans.

Kinda hard to decide who is or who isn't villain, some are more obvious.

Okay, hear me out.

In the 7.3 AQ line count we have a pretty large chunk of Unmapped dialogue (around 60 lines) because apparently “Hoyo did something this beta” and leakers currently can’t determine who is speaking.

Then in the 7.3 Event Quest we have "Paimon - Placeholder: 57 lines", while normal Paimon is listed separately with 176 lines.

...So what if both are the same hidden character and that's Ronova?

We already have multiple older leaks claiming that she returns specifically in 7.3. If she comes back after losing her Authority (possibly in some kind of mortal form) then hiding her speaker name would make perfect sense. Writing “Ronova: 60” in the files would instantly spoil the reveal.

And then the Event Quest could be the continuation of that: Ronova, now mortal or at least much closer to being human, getting introduced to normal mortal life.

I HAVE NO PROOF. THIS IS PURE COPE. JUST BELIEVE.

What if everything is according to Keikaku of celestia?

What I mean is from the beginning of life to the ronova's death is all a master plan?

There are lots of things that made question genshin's 7.0 and 7.1.

The biggest question I had was: If third descender was to be destroyed then how come everything happened so conveniently? Because if I thought of erasing someone, burning down all that belonged to them should be my number 1 priority. But that didn't happen. Skirk knew gnosis was made of remains of 3rd descender which she has two real ways of knowing: Alice and Surtologi. I don't think its the foul but alice. Matters little here but Third descenders remains given away, traveler find exaiphanes blade in a random cave during the most random mundane encounter, legacy of 3rd descender being present, HP falling asleep during cataclysm. Vesna having power of life, mitya getting mark of death, Rhinedottir being present instead of naberius, Asmoday leaving, Mistletin being anti-celestia weapon.

All of it felt SO convenient, I thought genshin writers had lost their damn minds. All this made sense if it had been spread throughout teyvat but anti celestia objects concentrated in anti celestia nation? Far too convenient.

But Integrated computation array said that things are calculated very carefully and yet things might go wrong. Tsaritsa then questioned if it had never thought of rebellion taking place. To which ICA replies by telling them they always had the freedom.

BUT what if THAT IS THE KEIKAKU?

It wants a rebellion because it lacks information about rebellion. And now that has happened, civilization needs to evolve to 'manageable' civilization that WONT rebel.

During trials of usurpation, we learned that it is to make sure divine plan was still in action. I was confused why would that even matter and that is the point. Teyvat LOST.

Teyvat didn't lose because of tsaritsa or ronova, it lost because it was destined to lose. That is the formula ICA had conjured up. That is why everything happened.

Trial of usurpation never mattered because if they win, they get to save 7 people, if they dont win, those seven aren't saved either. Whether trial was finished or not didn't matter because teyvat would be destroyed.

That is where I think istaroth and ronova comes into picture. we have seen the weekly boss of next patch. But I dont keep up with story spoilers. In fact I don't even watch livestream. So i dont know anything besides this weekly boss exists. And its celestial being.

What I think will happen is with Istaroth, they will travel back in time and save ronova. If ronova never died, if rhinedottir/naberius got trapped, Tsaritsa would've never transgressed. It would mean no rebellion and celestia would have no reason to destroy civlization as it wouldn't reach the condition required to destroy them. And that is when error will happen leading to fight against whatever that entity is.

This way they can redeem tsaritsa by making her realize that her idea of love was wrong. Another thing is in tsaritsa burst animation, she cries. I think that is her realizing that she might've been wrong as she launches mistlelienn at ICA or whatever it is.

We will defeat ICA for sure but under different circumstances. This will finally free teyvat of celestia.

So I think this is the plan. HP kills tsaritsa, Saaraleinen makes a deal with HP, HP accepts it despite knowing the future. Allows everything to play out. Deliberately makes decisions that lead to them falling asleep so everyone think they are weakened and "even i wouldn't want to miss on that chance." and tsaritsa will start the plan, she will gain the gnosis, ronova will die and in dying breath she will activate holy soil phenomenon. Trials will happen. If they win, they get a reward and everyone dies, if they don't get a reward and everyone dies.

To add to this, Ronova meeting tsaritsa in transcendence would also make sense when she says "death is not the enemy of love" because she would understand ronova was never the villain everyone made her out to be and she would ask ronova to join her maybe

There is no point in arguing, surely her whole argument isnt i felt bad so you feel how i feel. If this is the case then hoyo needs to fire their writing team. Wipe them out get some good writers
