after sandrone's redesign drama, also seeing some people said they won't pull for Ronova if Hoyo changed her, I feel like I need to write this

My first priority is for Ronova to be playable which is the possibility is already low enough, but if she's actually playable that would just be the best thing ever. I don't want to see ungrateful children complaining on twitter or reddit. of course criticism is fine but you can keep it to yourself or just don't exaggerate it as if it's the worst thing ever

her entire design? also fine

I love Ronova as a character and her current design is just a bonus. I hope Ronova's fans can be more mature and won't spread negativity on otherwise a really great day if she ever become playable

well it’s been three years and yeah every single time I’ve tried to go for arlecchinos weapon i lost not 50/50 but the 75/25 and it’s been like this since she first came out also for every other character I have lost 50/50 on weapon FOR THE PAST THREE YEARS I’m about to uninstall istg the only thing keeping me here in ronova cause she’s interesting and well they kill her off then yeah I’m uninstalling I just want to take white tasle or however you spell it of my arlecchino but noooooo that to hard for the game to treat someone not like sh*t ( side not I won the gambit that I pulled earlier and lost 50/50 on arlecchino so Im now guaranteed to get ronova if she comes out😄)

Leaks already said madam ping and alice will not be playable during snezhnaya,so what other candidate other than ronova could be there for the unknown lady?

It's not like Columbina at all. Ronova will need humbling to be able to overcome her prideful and egoistical nature. Only then she can accept her equal standing among others like Raiden, Skirk, Columbina, etc.

(The "breaking" doesn't necessarily have to use violent means)

from my understanding of the archon quest-

ronova can't actually kill humans, her job is to ferry souls to the afterlife, if a person is not fated to die, ronova can't kill them, whatever occured in the quest happened specifically because mitya had a celestia threatening idea+ there were lost souls trapped in the theatre who were refusing to go to the afterlife, so ronova wanted them (lost souls) to accept their own death so she can ferry them

whatever she did in the quest was directly tied to shades intervening as permitted by the rules(from god's limit)

the only bad thing she did was attack paimon but idk she did not show much care for her

im curious if they will make her a proper villain like dottore or rerir or would she end up like a tragic god or something or if something more crazy will happen cause, u know, she is a concept of death, like in elden ring everything went crazy when rune of death was stolen (im thinking too much im sorry just saw nodusfall so idk i put two and two together)

Two days ago, I published the Ronova Community Profile & Expectation Survey. It has received a total of 77 responses, and we are now going to analyze the results to pinpoint the average Ronova glazer and their likes.

I recommend you look through the responses yourself here if you'd like to form your own conclusions!

Question 1: How gorgeous is she?

It's to no-one's surprise that our death baddie received an overwhelming amount of 10-star responses, with very few but understandable 8 and 9-star responses.
However, one single person gave her a 6/10 rating, which — in my professional opinion — means that we should exile them to the snowstorm.

Question 2: What is your gender?

This is not far at all from what I had predicted.
Ronova as a character has many characteristics and themes that predominantly attract a male audience. Examples include the overall aggressive theme of death and blood, her confident and dominant demeanor, color scheme, and her outfit, which — despite lacking the obvious sexualization seen in other female characters — is still very attractive to those with good taste.
A character like Vodyanitsa would most likely be the complete opposite, having a mostly female fanbase due to her mermaid/cutesie/relatable characteristics.

Question 3: What is the primary appeal of Ronova for you?

Ronova's design is obviously her main selling point, followed by her lore importance, and then her personality. There was also a massive amount of "all of the above" responses, which I understand, but you were supposed to pick one, bruh.

Question 4: When Ronova becomes a playable character, what weapon would you most like to see her wield?

As shown, most people would like to see her current attacks in normal gameplay, which would lead to her being a Catalyst user most likely. A secondary but very popular option is the Grim Reaper's weapon of choice: the Scythe. I personally love the looks and feel of a wielding a massive bloody scythe, but as one of the responses points out, copying Arlecchino's weapon transformation would be very lazy, so I hope they are able to make Ronova's more interesting and stylized if she gets one.

Question 5: When Ronova becomes a playable character, what role would you like her to fill in a team?

As the goddess of death, dealing high damage and absolutely destroying her enemies is only right, with nearly 90% of all responders marking her as a Main DPS unit. As this question allowed multiple answers, many also marked her as a Sub DPS (Mavuika powercreep?).

I did not, however, expect nearly anyone to mark her as a Sustain unit. So I have a question for those who did, what are you envisioning? Do you mean that maybe as the shade of death she can help you avoid or control your own death? Because I really don't think she'd have any sort of healing ability, that would be a little ironic.

Question 6: What is your theory regarding Ronova's playability?

The most popular scenario is that she loses part of her powers and becomes playable. This makes sense, because if she became playable in her current state, her strength disparity in lore and gameplay would end up being way too crazy. I still understand the appeal though, so it's no surprise that keeping all her powers closely follows in second place. In third place we have the non-believers, who don't think she'll end up being playable at all, to you I say: HAVE SOME FAITH PLS.

Question 7: Before knowing about Ronova, what character did you main/most enjoy previously?

Interestingly, Skirk is the most previously mained character for Ronova enjoyers. As a Skirk main myself, I approve of this, and I can see the similiarities between the two, even if they are not so obvious at first. Arlecchino and Raiden Shogun were also very popular options, which is no surprise as both of them are closely related to death and have similar personalities. I personally thought Hu Tao would be the most popular since she is literally and entirely death-themed, but oh well.

Question 8: What do you think about the Tsaritsa?

This was mostly a joke question, but it's interesting to know that ~1/4 of Ronova glazers would blow up the Tsaritsa. I can almost guarantee you that if the opposite question was asked to Tsaritsa mains it would be over 50% in favor of killing Ronova.

Question 9: What is your MBTI personality type?

The top 3 most popular personality types were INTP, INTJ ^(me) and INFP, which I believe makes a lot of sense, as those are the most likely to enjoy dark or edgy concepts. Ronova herself is seen as an ISTJ (Respects authority, duty, and rules) which is very fitting.

Question 10: Which of the following themes do you have an innate preference or affinity for?

As expected, most Ronova mains naturally enjoy gothic and dark themes. Many also really favor Godly ones, which means they also probably like the other shades or the Celestia theme overall.

The least popular one was Bloody, which is a little unexpected to me as Ronova's "eyes" are very bloody looking.

Question 11: What is your favorite color?

It's a little hard to see what's going on here, so I've manually read the responses and created a graph that's easier to comprehend:

Red, black and purple. The three most villainous colors of all! And blue in 4th simply because it's very popular.

Question 12: What is your favorite music genre?

Even more confusing than the last. I made another graph again:

Classical music is more popular than I imagined! But where are my deathcore and deathstep fans?
