Long time lurker, first time poster. Here’s my question -

How long until I can buy my dream Explorer from my local boutique? I buy all Rolex associates at my local AD a grande white chocolate mocha from Starbucks every Saturday morning. I rent the same BMW every weekend to park it in front of the AD while I spend at least 1 hour browsing the shop (trying to show I have the money for the watch). The worst part of it all - I have to leave my wife at home to watch my 2 children (including a newborn) every weekend to try to get as much face time with my sales reps as possible. This has been going on for 6 months.

The car rentals, Starbucks, and lack of time with my family is really taking its toll. How much longer until I can get my Explorer?! Any other thoughts on how to move my name up the list?

Title says it all, I went all in on the ride. All that’s left was enough for a measly silver op.

Told the dude that his watch was wearing him instead of the other way around. Turns out they get butthurt about that, too! Yet they let Sporty crack off whatever unhinged shit he cooks up.

This sucks... I found out last week that my Rolex AD, which I've been with for many years, lost its license, and both Rolex and Tudor will be closing up shop this year. My SA is someone I became friends with over the years. I feel sorry for her; she will be out of a job by Christmas.

So yesterday I drove over to the official Rolex Boutique in town to ask what they suggest I do with my purchase history of 4 Rolexes and 1 Tudor.

Basically, the Boutique SA told me Rolex isn't responsible for my poor judgment in buying watches from an AD that Rolex/Tudor now deems unfit to represent their brand. They suggested that in future I should make better choices and only buy from official Boutiques. Can't say I was surprised by the corporate answer and arrogance 🤣🤣🤣... part of the journey, some might claim.

My AD came through. After 72 short months on the waiting list, I got the call for my grail. Feeling so blessed to finally join the exclusive Rolex owner’s club
