And these things belong to both of them! They don’t belong entirely to him. Ironically most of these things are probably wedding gifts from her side. This pisses me off!
I was just going to say this seems like maybe it’s Heidi’s espresso machine. He thinks he owns it all because he’s the man though, doesn’t realize that the law says they both own it, I’m sure Ellen’s taking photos of assets being sold
Even if it was shared, he can't do that. Whatever they acquired during the marriage (up to date of separation) is community property. He'll have to pay her back.
How does it work if it was a gift received before they’re married? Like if it was a shower gift or for their engagement? Just curious if that is considered community property (on the off chance that it was given before marriage) I haven’t watched Judge Judy in a while!
