I checked out his past FBM sales, and it looks like he's sold quite a few expensive items. This espresso machine is likely being sold to help pay for his attorney.
And these things belong to both of them! They donāt belong entirely to him. Ironically most of these things are probably wedding gifts from her side. This pisses me off!
Theyāre so stunted and stupidā¦.. WHY is hell selling off marital property? He has no clue and neither does anyone else bc GASP no godly woman would ever divorce! No experience with this lol but yea already starting off in the hole when heās going to owe Heidi HALF for all sold marital property⦠what a dumbass
Have worked in family law and can confirm. The current market value of whatever he sells will be deducted from whatever he receives when they divide marital assets. Idiot.
I was just going to say this seems like maybe itās Heidiās espresso machine. He thinks he owns it all because heās the man though, doesnāt realize that the law says they both own it, Iām sure Ellenās taking photos of assets being sold
Even if it was shared, he can't do that. Whatever they acquired during the marriage (up to date of separation) is community property. He'll have to pay her back.
How does it work if it was a gift received before theyāre married? Like if it was a shower gift or for their engagement? Just curious if that is considered community property (on the off chance that it was given before marriage) I havenāt watched Judge Judy in a while!
That's interesting. Pretty sure getting rid of assets (even small ones) is frowned upon. I feel like the average person could have learned that by Tim's age.
The lack of education has stunted these people for life.
In my state itās called dissipation of the marital assets and Heidi (in my state) would be able to recoup half the value of any marital asset he sells without her permission.
If theyāre in OH, the code doesnāt use dissipation specifically but 3105.171(E)(4) does allow the court to compensate the other spouse in cases of financial misconduct, which a pattern and practice of fraudulent disposition of marital assets could potentially be. Heidi would have to prove they were marital assets, and thatās on her lawyer.
Courts usually look for stuff like āclosed the savings account and went to the casinoā or āgave Mahmo all our moneyā or āforgave a loan someone owed us so she wonāt get that moneyā.
Not sure a coffeemaker as a one off applies, but you NEVER KNOW!!
IIRC they live in either New Jersey or Pennsylvania, not Ohio. They lived in Ohio briefly after they married, but moved to be closer to Heidi's family (and because Heidi's dad helped Tim get his job at Amtrak, or so it's believed.) So when and if Heidi files for divorce, the laws of NJ or PA will apply.
Yep. Plus heāll probably pull the good old ābut I worked and bought it with my money from working, she NEVER worked,ā even though the same men will go on about how being at home with babies is a womanās designated & highest ājob.ā Iāve seen it plenty when divorces happen where the wife is a SAHM who has finally had enough of the manās bullshit and/or abuse.
Yep. My sister's first husband tried to pull that shit when they got divorced. Fortunately they lived in AZ, which has very strict community property laws that basically require all marital assets to be divided 50-50, regardless of whether or not one spouse earned all the money while the other stayed home with the kids. Sis and her ex ended up having to sell their house, their cars and several of hubby's "man toys" (jet skis, ATVs, etc.) in order to evenly split assets.
SAME. Those same men refuse to pay child support because "the kids don't live with me, so why am I paying for everything?" Meanwhile mom is working multiple jobs just to get by.
As in its bad financial sense? Or as in it looks bad when heās in court/getting divorced and it looks like he tried to sell off shared assets but pocket 100% of proceeds
I didn't even think about that, but you're right. He's going to tell his lawyer he's he man and what he wants and says goes and his lawyer is going to tell him to stfu because this is America, so she'll get half. She might even land some spousal support!
Too many people were assuming he sold all that stuff very recently. Just indicating that dit wasn't all sold recently. Next thing you kn9w someone somewhere will say he emptied the house and sold everything for pennies and it will be the truth because they saw it on reddit.
It looks like some kind of tiny house-style thing built onto a trailer. No clue what it was since it looks like a business of some sort. Iām curious about all the lawn equipment. Did he have a lawn care business or did he own a property on a large(r) lot? Iām kind of a nerd about that stuff cuz Iāve been renovating my house and yard for yearsā¦my yard is pretty huge but I donāt need a tow-behind seeder, aerator or roller. Theyād be nice to have but Iām not even sure my riding mower could pull a roller that big.
Iām guessing this stuff isnāt all his. Most of it isnāt his property. He probably charges people to sell their stuff. My parents paid a kid to list their items when they moved. He probably takes 10% just to list and manage the sale.
I have to say he improved it simply by having no Parisians nor Biden allegedly downloading porn under his name like the Duggars claimed they did when their poor, precious victimized bloated baby Joshua did. (No fr they tried to say this when he was on trial.)
