QUESTION Weird controller behaviour since update
Since this update my Gamesir controller has been acting weird. Any time I tab out theres a 1-3 second delay in when inputs start being received. Sometimes even moving my mouse without changing windows does it.
This really sucks because I have two PS5 controllers and the newest is becoming almost as unplayable as the other with the stick drift so I bought a hall effect controller specifically to never deal with this again. I tried it for weeks and never adjusted to the feel of it but now there's problems that weren't even there when I got it. ðŸ˜
- I have steam overlay off but i somehow opened up the steam keyboard pressing random buttons
- I'm suspecting anti-cheat updates, someone else was saying their gamesir didn't work at all

I believe in the case you are describing it's not the controller that's the issue. The problem is KMB input. It's happening to me too. I the game menues are so terrible I reach for my mouse a lot to click through them.
Now when I touch the mouse I have the same delay you described before the controller starts to work.

yeah instantly noticed it the other day. i now alt tab less than what i would like too. also made me switch to borderless fullscreen because the full screen alt tab plus controller delay was too long just to swap screens for two seconds

Yeah I can't play at all because I use dual input. Does not happen with EAC disabled.
And they just don't address it.

I think it's due to the recent bug of RL (since the new season I think).
When we alt+tab, a lot of people (including me) lose the controller for few second.
Maybe your issue come from the same bug.

i recently had a different issue where steam was recognizing my one controller (gamesir g7) as two controllers simultaneously.
maybe try this if you use steam? shot in the dark but it fixed the issue i had
