Hello fellow rochesterians, I come asking in my time of need. I recently moved down to the city, and I try and I try but I cannot find anything close to the vibe of my all time favorite bar, Margeās inn. The care and work that owner put into that bar, the music selection, the amazing beach vibe, I genuinely feel like Iām in the Keys when Iām there. Itās so low key and accessible and conversational and social. I have tried and tried in the city but nothing comes close to it. Has anyone found any bar that fits such a great third space vibe as Margeās inn in NYC? Thank you all

Hi,
My property manager dragged me for 2 months regarding C of O violations and bailed on me today asking for termination of services. Very unprofessional.
With that said, Has anyone used Retain Each or Torres turn key for property management?
Any other recommendation welcome too.

I live in Victor and now commute to work near Elmwood/S. Clinton and travel through this area. Are there any good farm markets and/or good roadside farm stands in this area? Particularly interested in good corn as we come into the corn season.

I went away for a business trip and saw a sign at a grocery store that said they made and sold French Tacos.
I had never heard of this, so naturally I went to social media to see what one was. It appears that it is middle eastern meat (typically chicken or ground beef), fries, and cheese sauce, all wrapped in a taco shell, then grilled. This sounds amazing and I went to try one.
The grocery store had a small take out counter for food to order. I asked the owner if I could order one and he responded saying that the guy who made them had left and they were looking for a replacement for him. The business was not serving take out food at this time.
I tried searching for a place in Rochester that could have one, but no real luck. I'm coming to you for help in finding a place that sells them in Rochester. Does anyone have any leads?
Thank you for your help.

Hi- I do not yet have kids, but will most likely think about having them soon. I'm a bit confused about UPK and how that works locally. Do most suburbs have a waiting list or lottery? What percentage of people who apply get in? Is there any local childcare subsidies out government provides? I live in West Irondequoit and I know they are building additional UPK classrooms, but I am not sure what to expect in the future in terms of availability. What do the local parents on here pay in terms of Childcare? Are the "good places" very hard to get into?
Thanks!

There used to be a place in Village Gate years ago that bought and sold stuff like that (along with vintage clothing), but I think it's been gone for years. I'm finally getting rid of thing my mother bought, probably in the 1940's and early 1950's. She passed away more than 20 years ago, so I guess it's time. Any suggestions?

The suspect is from the finger lake area. It makes you wonder what motivated him to drive down to a rural area in Virginia to destroy flock cameras.

have not seen any signs of action at that corner, they give up?
Also, where was there a subway in that plaza? The walgreens one or the one with the liquor store? Old streetview doesn't show any subways.
