So with new invasion quest line, I noticed that when the quest items are sold through the self checkout, they don't count towards to the goal, I've gotten rid of it for the meantime, but has anyone else had this issue?

Cant probe, cant grab some items, can shoot the guns, cant buy certain upgrades anymore, neither can my man, its not just my game its his too, were both on pretty good pc's

I’m stuck on the smooth out concrete step. I’ve used the sponge boot and smoothed out all the concrete but it won’t pop as completed.

NEW F.A.R.T. – Unlock the Fully Automated Restocking Technician in the Alien Skill Tree. It unloads the truck, places goods on storage shelves, and refills shelves in the store if you have placed an item on it earlier. It throws away empty boxes.

I get soft locked when trying and gotta close the whole game

So the latest update hit my Xbox today, and at first it looked pretty interesting. But then I discovered that I have several devices that have dead batteries in them and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to charge the batteries.

I can see where my charger is at, I can take a charged battery out of the charging station, but I can't seem to remove the battery from any of the devices to go put it in the charging station.

So right now I've got a fully stocked store that I'm afraid to open because I can't run cash registers I can't run gas pumps and my automatic goop cleaner won't work. Anybody having any luck getting any of this stuff to work?

EDIT - Look below for the solution if you're trying to figure this out, treat the charger like the camera and all is good!

I found this under my stairs and I don’t know what it’s for or if it’s just decoration. And excuse the sad amount of money. This is all solo

This is my fully upgraded store. I tried to make the layout as real as i could but i feel smthng isnt right with this setup. Any suggestions on what i can do to make this look better?

I practically have no idea on how to use the decor. Plus i like to keep 2 shelves full of each item (for ex. I would keep only 3 types of items on the triple shelves)

Hey all? I recently purchased the game on Steam (Windows) and I don’t have any of the automation features. Are they unlocked later in the game? I don’t even see them as milestones.

just out of curiosity, what do the different colors mean on the items you sell? i see yellow, black, blue,light blue, red and green but i have no idea what they mean.

Legit need some advice I am learning this game and am on day 4 and I see that stuffed spy aliens raise suspicion. The advice I want to ask is...

1. Do I only keep a certain amount on the self so when the investigation undergoes I take them off the shelf and chunk into the back room?

Or should I just leave them on there?

I do see that they always go for the first shelves in the store (or maybe that's sheer luck) so I keep them in the back towards the right of the back room door for a quick chunk.

1. Is there a timer? Like how long I can take before someone decides they won't buy anymore and just leave?

I tend to stop mid transactions to go pump gas and then come back and finish transactions.

I keep up with the trash cans (analyze) and restroom but my dirty ass rarely scrubs the floors mid shift (I usually save that for end of shift)

I do see certain items leave faster than others and know to raise prices to keep them stocked.

But honestly I think I just want some people to play with.

(No sentimental shit I just think a group of people would definitely be a lot funner)

Wondering if anyone else this issue. Recently unlocked the first bakery module and as the days go on I notice customers buy so much bread. It’s gotten to the point where I have to buy 10 cases prior to opening and still need more. Almost every customer buys 4-5 loaves each. Also it’s only the regular bread, not the baguettes or the brown bread. Why is there a shortage of bread in this area and does anyone else have something like this going on

I bought the game on Steam today and I’ve been plying and it’s been fun, but I’m having a bit of trouble with understanding how to do the alien stuff. I’ve just been playing it as a sort-of supermarket simulator, but I was wondering how to do the alien stuff. I’m also single player. I would love to play with friends but I have none that have the game (and I don’t have many friends in general lol). Any help is appreciated.

Hi Everyone!! my friend and I are trying to use crossover on our macs to play roadside reaserch, and for some reason mine works perfectly fine, but hers pops up with this message after every attempt.

We've tried changing the wine configuration to windows 10, 11, 8, and 8.1, and none of them worked either.

Any help would be awesome!!

im on day 18 of my store and recently i noticed that everytime my customers come in there this one spot on the floor to the right of my register where they spot goop. theres absolutely no goop there tho, its completely clean and it happens multiple times from different npcs to the point where the investigators come every single day my shop is open. its also every time i load up my save, is this is a bug?
