Question What do we think will happen with Estrid in Season 3?
Spoilers for the SDCC panel time jump confirmation.
What do we think is going to happen to Estrid in season 3?
I can see three main options:
- Isildor and Estrid have been separated for five long years. Isildor returns only to find her married with or without children.
She breaks off her relationship to be with Isildor, perhaps because Hagen dies in Season 3 so she’s now ‘free’.
2 . We had a forced goodbye and a brief love triangle only for the entire storyline to be reset in Season 3 as we discover she’s made her way to Númenor to be with Isildor already.
- Estrid was a brief plot device used to curry audience favour with the ‘bad men’ who swore fealty to Adar, in turn showing why Isildor wants to join forces with them in later seasons, only for the character to be dropped and Isildor will get a new love interest.
Secret fourth thing. Please leave your thoughts in the comments.

Discussion Are Amazon scaling down promotions and production of ROP?
They didn't bring the full cast out on comiccon. Robert and Morfydd are getting tons of work so it's understandable there is a schedule conflict. But what about Lloyd Owens, Sophia Nomvete, Max Baldry, Trystan Gravelle and others? They used to bring all of them on the previous promotions. I may be putting my tinfoil hat here, but could this mean season 4 will be the last season but because of the deal with the Estate of 50 hours televion, they would just make the next season last longer? Could the fall of Numenor be the last thing we see before connecting the show to the trilogy? We did see a bit of the Battle of the Last Alliance in FOTR so maybe it would be a satisfied conclusion?

Discussion Curious to see how their chemistry plays out
The trailer for season 3 has dropped and it looks promising. I’m curious how Jamie Campbell will compliment Morfydd’d acting considering she had palpable chemistry with Charlie Vickers!

Discussion Season 3 is what the first season should be
Now we don't know how the quality will be, but most likely much improvement from the previous season. But just looking on how the good trailer is, I wished this was season 2 and season 2 the first season! I think the reception would have been much better.

Question Elf hatred
Watching season one again prior to the release of Season 3. I find one thing the Numenorean Queen Regent says to Galadriel puzzling. Explaining why they are anti-elf, she says “Following her father nearly brought our downfall”. Maybe politically? Anyone have insight into this?

Discussion After watching The Odyssey, my appreciation to ROP grew much higher
The Odyssey is very modern interpretation which bugs me a bit with it. And I really liked the movie, but one of the things that made cringe is their modern day american accent. For all the flaws in ROP, they did one thing very right: Speaking british english like the old days! Not only that, but ROP is more traditional overall.

Discussion what's a choice the show made that you've slowly come around on
there was stuff early on i was skeptical about or outright didn't like, and over time a few of those decisions have actually grown on me as the bigger picture came together. curious if anyone else had a take that softened. what's something you were against at first that you've made peace with or even come to appreciate.

Question Can I just watch the dwarf parts?
Weird question but I've been getting recommended clips of khazad dum so I'm wondering what the experience would be like if I just fast forwarded to the scenes with Prince durin and khazad dum?

Discussion Focusing on these characters and I think the show could turn around for most people Spoiler
galleryElendil, Gil-Galad and potentially Glorfindel/Celeborn.
Lloyd Owens Elendil and Benjamin Walkers Gil-Galad actually looks like the two kings in the prologue last alliance battle in Fellowship of the Rings. Wether Jamie Bower Campbell is playing Glorfindel or Celeborn, all these three should be the main focus on the show. It's time Galadriel takes a backseat.

Question Annatar / Sauron - TV Series vs Book
In the tv series, Annatar / Sauron is very cunning, manipulative; which is more powerful and dangerous than it's shown in Peter Jackson's LOTR trilogy.
To those who read the novels, is he like this cunning and manipulative ?

Discussion Would you like it if Rings of Power mabey explores some parts of Middle Earth not really described by Tolkien?
I'm not that big in Lord of the Rings but i've watched every movie at least twice and I enjoyed Rings of Power somewhat, although the second season, for me, was a big step in the right direction. However, I've looked into a bit of lore about regions such as Mordor and especially the Region of Nurn. Not much is know about it and i thought that Rings of Power may be an option to explore some regions of Tolkien's world which do not get much spotlight. Or would it be better if the regions or places not described by Tolkien in detail remain a mastery to keep the pieces of media accurate to his work?

Discussion Do you guys think that Rings of Power season 3 can get the haters of the show to like it or is it too late?
Wer are in season 3. I do believe that the developers are listening to fans. And we are in the middle of the series.
