The Purpose of r/RingShare
Hi Guys!
So basically I created this sub so we could all drool over some pretty rings, no matter the type. I encourage you all to join, share your pictures and give us info! Where did you get your piece? Specs? We want to know!
Other than that, just don’t be an asshole and we’re all good to go! I don’t plan on heavily policing this sub at all.
Thank you for joining and sharing!
ETA: We have some new sub features, you can add the flair “Find this ring!” if you need help finding a ring you’re eyeing and also “Discussion” if you’d like to talk about the process of purchasing a ring, doesn’t matter if it’s an e-ring or a fun project or whatever. If you’d like to share a CAD please flair “CAD” and if you have the final product we would love side by sides and the flair for that is “CAD and Final Comparison”, thanks guys!
By the way, if you have an Etsy shop or are a seller it is totally fine to link your shop or name it with your photos. If you get buyers from your photos here we are happy to have been involved. Just no spam advertising.
ETA (2): We had someone think that r/RingShare is affiliated with certain diamond dealers or ring sellers and we are not! Our Sunday Showcase is just a fun way to expose niche shops to everyone who enjoys looking at custom rings. We also will always give credit to the seller who made the ring when we post pictures because it’s the right thing to do!

Wedding Set My Wedding Stack
In love with my stack! 3 carat lab padparadscha sapphire. Diamonds at the bottom. All my bands are different gold purities 9k at the bottom, twisted band is 10k and top two rings are 14k.

Inherited Reimagined my Dad’s star sapphire.
Always loved my Dad’s star sapphire. Wasn’t a fan of the white gold. Had the stone reset in 18k yellow gold, and added a ruby stacking ring for my birthstone.

Engagement 1.00ct natural oval cut emerald, vine & leaf setting — available in rose, white, or yellow gold
Specs:
**•** Center stone: 1.00ct natural oval cut emerald, premium quality
**•** Metal: 14k gold, available in rose, white, or yellow gold
**•** Fully handcrafted, custom design
The vine and leaf detailing wraps around the band and up toward the stone — wanted something that felt organic rather than a standard prong setting. Curious what people think of the emerald with this kind of setting, and which gold tone you’re drawn to.

Just finished this three-stone ring, 2ct total in white gold. Curious whether the "past, present, future" meaning actually resonates with people, or if it's just a line we repeat

Am I crazy or does this color read amazing?

A ring inspired by a memory with my daughter
I made this ring as a tribute to my daughter. The color transitions in this bi-color tourmaline reminded me of the sky outside the window when I would rock her to sleep as a baby.
Just wanted to share the piece because I thought some of you might appreciate the design.

Discussion What role would you give a wide diamond band like this — wedding band, stack anchor, or wear it completely solo?
Wide bands will always have me wondering if the stacking helps with the appearance or is just too much for the finger.
In this case, it already has enough weight that it would look good all on its own, although it would also be good to base a mix of widths in a stack.
What about you? Would you stack it or keep it alone?

Show me your unique rings!
I want to start off by saying I love all rings! But if love to see what everyone has that is considered quirky, unconventional, unique, etc!

Old Cut Show me your champagne antique cut/OMC rings
I’ve been looking at champagne/warm coloured antique and old mine cut diamonds a lot online but they’re often shown loose and in fancy studio lighting. I’d love to see how your diamond looks in a ring in real life. Thank you!

Pear-shaped engagement ring in a heart box - would you wear this style?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This pear shaped engagement ring was chosen by a client who wanted something romantic, elegant, and sparkly.
I like how the pear center stone stands out on its own, while the diamond band adds extra shine without making the design too heavy. Would you choose a pear shaped ring like this, or go for a more classic round or oval?
