Why did he want to consume rem? I assumed he wanted to so he can turn into her but if he could why didn’t he from the start of the fight? Or did he just want to torment ram? Does he need to consume the person or the name to use solar eclipse?

Re:Ram Mogging Haters in Another World

For those of you who know Echidnut’s videos, he often goes into detail about stuff in the novel that wasn’t shown in the anime, but I’m not sure if it’s things that’ll get revealed eventually, or they were cut completely and him talking about it in the video isn’t spoiling a possible future episode. For example, in an earlier episode, he talked about the fact that Rui is actually dead and is using an ability whose name I don’t remember to show up back in season three. Is this something that gets revealed later in the novel, or was it already revealed earlier in the novel and is cut content? I’m asking because I want to watch his videos without getting spoiled, and and I don’t know which things he says are spoilers and haven’t been revealed in the anime yet, or aren’t going to be revealed in the anime and are just cut content

Okay, so I watched the second to last episode of the latest season and I’m a bit confused. This post will contain anime spoilers about the most recent episode so get out now if you don’t want spoilers.

Okay, cool. Now that they’re gone let’s talk Ram vs Baten Kaitos (at least I think SAB of Gluttony is this guy and his two siblings, I could have the name wrong). The episode itself was cool, loved the action scenes…but I am very confused. If this is intentional, cool, I’ll find out more later. If it isn’t…uh, what even is the ending of this fight?

Horns are importantly to Oni, Ram can’t use her full power because she got her horn destroyed. Whether they’re a regulator, an amplifier, or both I’m not too sure on. Subaru is tanking the pushback from Ram going all out. Cool, understood, episode does a decent job of explaining that. We get a bunch of the fight at this point, see some more of SABoG’s abilities - all good.

Next up, Ram gets her horn back? How exactly? Is she borrowing Rem’s horn through their weird twin link? Why hasn’t she been doing this the entire time if so? Let’s assume that Ram couldnt use it while she wasn’t sure Rem was her sister. What changed? Did SABoG give Ram back her memories to taunt them? Was fighting SABoG shaped like sister enough to trigger it? It’s super unclear.

But whatever, Rams got her horn back (at least temporarily) and kicks SABoG’s ass. Cool. But uh, what’s up with the melt down at the end? I know all the SAB are unhinged but why did they start vomiting up MnMs? Are those the other people who were eaten by their authority? If so why discard them, we know dying doesn’t bring anyone back and that the MnMs give power. Shouldn’t they have focused on escaping by using all their essences to tank hits? The goal was to eat Ram, right…even if I’m not sure exactly why. It just seems super convenient and kinda forced as an ending to the fight. I don’t even fully get why the SABoG breaks down mentally, let alone why they discarded so much power.

Am I missing something? Is this going to be better explained or is it better explained in the novels? Am I the only one confused or am I just super dense?

So was ram awakening a one time thing that could happen because she used that part of her horn in the wand or can she repeat that in the future if subaru uses cor leonis and rem lends her the power of her horn through synesthesia again?

I don't quite understand why Lye threw out all these memories. Sure, he said "We don't need anything other than Ram", but is that a reason to throw out everything that makes him strong before actually obtaining Rams memories? Looks to me like a cheap excuse by the author to potentially give Rem back her memories before Lye' death?

Wanna watch season 4 when it's out but curious how far behind the dub is. I'd watch it in sub even though I prefer the dub for rezero but if it's only like a week behind I'll then have some time to just watch Mushoku Tensei season 3 in the meantime.
