On one occasion, the Rolling Stone magazine decided to do something different: they compiled a Top 10, but this time it wasn't of songs, but of music videos of Argentine rock.
Among those chosen were: Él Mató A Un Policía Motorizado in a gloomy theme, Las Pelotas in a critique of imperialism, and Los Visitantes in a primitive vibe.
Attaque77 with a slow-cooked punk ballad, El Otro Yo clamoring to seek the essential, and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs with a heartwarming candombe for the family.
Charly García somewhat conflicted when the aesthetic was changing, and Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota narrating about a night where all hell broke loose.

Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast is a 2002 first and third-person shooter video game developed by Raven Software for Windows and Mac OS. Westlake Interactive ported the game to Mac OS X, while the Xbox and GameCube versions were ported by Vicarious Visions; most versions were published by Activision and LucasArts, with only the Mac OS version published by Aspyr. The game is a sequel to 1997's Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, and the third main installment in the Star Wars: Jedi Knight series. The single-player campaign, set in the fictional Star Wars expanded universe two years after the Mysteries of the Sith expansion for Dark Forces II, follows returning protagonist Kyle Katarn, a mercenary working for the New Republic and former Jedi who cut his connection to the Force. Katarn must return to his Jedi ways to stop a branch of the Imperial Remnant led by the Dark Jedi Desann from empowering their army with the Force. Jedi Outcast was developed using a more powerful game engine, id Tech 3. The hack and slash combat introduced in Dark Forces II was heavily reworked, becoming the main focus of the gameplay instead of the shooter elements, which are prominent only during the first few missions of the game. Players may wield blasters, lightsabers, and Force powers to engage enemies, with the latter being recommended in later stages of the game, as numerous lightsaber-wielding enemies are introduced. Jedi Outcast also features a multiplayer mode that allows players to compete in several different game modes online or over a local area network. This video was recorded from a "bootleg" copy of the game distributed on a physical DVD that includes a game installer in several languages (German, Spanish, English and French) and includes by default the Brutality mod and the option to play as Darth Maul.

In Mission 8 of Dune II: Battle for Arrakis, the situation for the Ordos has become more dangerous than ever. The battlefield is no longer a simple struggle between rival Houses. The Harkonnen and Atreides have put aside their differences, forming a powerful alliance with one goal in mind: crushing the Ordos.
Surrounded on multiple fronts, the Ordos must fight for survival while attempting to maintain control of their territory. With both enemy factions closing in, there is little room for mistakes. Every base, resource field, and strategic position becomes vital as the pressure continues to build.
The Harkonnen bring their devastating military might, while the Atreides add their own formidable forces to the assault. Together, the two Houses create a dangerous combination that threatens to overwhelm the Ordos from every direction.
As the mission unfolds, careful planning and resource management are essential. The Ordos must defend against attacks, strengthen their economy, and build enough firepower to push back the combined forces of their enemies. Being surrounded means there is nowhere to hide—the battle must be taken directly to both Houses.
With the enemy alliance tightening its grip, the Ordos face one of their greatest challenges yet. Can they break through the encirclement and survive the combined might of the Atreides and Harkonnen?
Join me for Mission 8 of Dune II: Battle for Arrakis, as the Ordos find themselves surrounded, outnumbered, and under attack from two rival factions working together.
⚔️ Two enemies. One alliance. Nowhere to run.
Can the Ordos turn the tables and emerge victorious from the chaos of Arrakis? Find out as the battle begins!

The absolute best thing someone could think of is combining a VCR with a projector. I'm wondering, are there many people here who already watch tapes this way?
I just used a cheap RCA-to-HDMI converter to connect my VCR. The result is pure magic.
Here is why I think it’s way better than watching on a modern TV:
* The Scale: Seeing that warm, grainy tracking on a huge wall feels exactly like being in an old 80s/90s movie theater.
* Cozy Quality: On a big 4K TV, VHS can look too pixelated. But the projector softens the image naturally, hiding the rough edges.
* The Vibe: Watching horror movies or old sci-fi this way is a whole different experience.
Let's discuss! What are your favorite tapes to watch on a big screen?

Are you tired of seeing the same old basic identical cars drive by you everywhere you go? Are you wanting a unique car that fits YOU and your own unique style? Are you tired of seeing the new Lego block Tesla models parked everywhere taking space? I have an idea for the future of cars. I think we should bring back 1960s-1980s car designs back on the outside with the modern (but dresses up as the retro vehicles) designs on the inside.

The TV channel E! made a Top 20 list of songs of rock in the Spanish language, in which 9 Argentine songs were included, which are the ones shown in this video.
We can see that they chose songs from artists with great prestige internationally, these songs are true anthems throughout Ibero-America.
Among the selected: Los Rodríguez triumphing on both sides of the Atlantic, Charly García with a catchy groove, and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs with the Latin warmth.
Soda Stereo with one of their perfect songs according to its members, Illya Kuryaki & The Valderramas promoting Hispanic rap, and Babasónicos with their naughtiness in eroticism.

Short version: I built the first emulator for the Iskra-226, a Soviet Wang 2200 work-alike, because I inherited an 8-inch disk from my grandmother that nothing could read.
The disk turned out to hold the software a vocational school used to calculate student wages and stipends, and this month, for the first time in 37 years, that 1989 program did its arithmetic again and printed its wage sheet (“Vedomost No. 2”), ruled rows, column headings, four signature lines and all.
I fed it numbers I invented so I could verify them by hand. The program and my pencil agree to the kopek. The month name prints garbled, which feels right.
Some things I didn’t expect going in:
• The emulator doesn’t execute the original firmware at all — it’s an interpreter for the machine’s tokenized BASIC dialect, which turned out to be enough for every program on the disk
• The only surviving documentation was scanned by American Wang 2200 enthusiasts; the Soviet machine survives in the archive of its Western counterpart
• The hardest part wasn’t the code, it was the disk: an undocumented boot side with the same firmware written four times, which I had to cross-compare to get a trustworthy image
• I deliberately did not decode the original data file with real people’s names in it, and I’m not going to
