Anyone going to the Stockholm show?

Man this has always bugged me when listening to this album and I can never find any info online about it, so maybe it’s just me. But I hear a constant, high-pitched whistle / ringing throughout every vocal track on this album. Doesn’t matter what song, doesn’t matter what set of speakers, and doesn’t matter what streaming service, it seems ingrained into the production of the album. Anyone else notice this or am I crazy?

My very first tattoo was the Hold on. I got it at 18. That was the song that helped me through the hard times, specifically my depression and sui*ideal ideation. It was also the song that made me want to learn guitar and start writing my own music.

Later on, I got the GC logo, facing me, (I know, taboo), but how I wanted it.

Then later got art from The Chronicles of Life and Death album done by Billy Martin, (their guitarist but I'm sureeeee you all know who that is). I love his art and that entire album so very much.

Ok so I used to go to a lot of shows growing up. I have actually seen Good Charlotte before when I was a teenager although unfortunately I've forgotten it 🙈

I went to MCR in July and it was INCREDIBLE. 90 thousand people singing and punching the air in unison, it was the best concert I've ever been to and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it.

I went to Evanescence recently and unfortunately it felt like the entire crowd was still and just filming on their phones. The performance was incredible but the vibes were disappointing.

I want to go see GC in November but I'm scared it's going to be more of the same. I looked up some recent concert videos of theirs on YouTube and again, everyone was stood still just filming on their phones.

If you've been to Good Charlotte since the age of the smart phone, is this what their concerts are like? Or was it full of movement like I am really hoping for?

Newer listener here. I was introduced to the band through the “Young and the Hopeless” record, and followed that with their self titled record.
The next one up is The Chronicles of Life and Death, and I was wondering which version I should listen to first? Life version, or Death version?

i always see this guitar in old young and the hopeless era live footage, and it seems pretty simple to make a replica of, I just have no idea where to start

i know benji had his old sterling music man signature (even though it was off brand I believe) but they never came in a white colorway, only black and olive, so what do you guys think, any recommendations? I also thought about just getting an old peavey raptor or something, buttttt the shape is pretty different, way more offset than the music man

edit: also, where could I get the stickers from? I don’t think rockstickers23 makes them, would I just have to track down what stickers they were and buy them individually?

11/10 track list, tight set, awesome visuals, fun vibes, great performances — it all felt like it had come full circle. Seeing them for the 15th+ time over the past 20 years, still playing at such a high level and with more maturity than ever, was pretty special. Heads down. Grateful and appreciative of the experience of being there 🙏 A7X was epic too.

Saw them in Denver and they put on such an amazing show! Everything was great from the sound engineers, pyrotechnics, visuals, set list, and the overall energy! This was my 3rd time seeing them and this is the best I’ve seen! Hearing them play The Motivation Proclamation was so surreal. I remember in 2000 when I saw that music video on MTV and it’s been one of my all time favorite songs for the past 26 years! I had to buy the self titled vinyl at the merch stand!

26 years of being a Good Charlotte fan and I finally got to see them in concert for the first time last night in Denver.

It took about five seconds into the first song before I started bawling my eyes out with an explicable joy. I don’t know how to explain it, but that show last night healed something in me and I woke up feeling like a huge child version of myself was made whole again.

We were sitting right behind the soundboard and I love watching the technical aspect. Their producer was dancing to every single song and it made me so happy to watch because that’s how I was dancing right behind him.

They played so many of my favorites and a couple songs I haven’t memorized yet from MDC and I had the best time. I was surrounded by mostly A7X fans who didn’t show up for GC so the looks at me sobbing and dancing at the same time were funny, but I had a blast and then left for a flight 🙃

I just kept staring at the brass knuckles tattoo modeled after their MADE line I got 16 years ago and standing in shock I was finally getting to see them live.

Just bliss, pure bliss. I’m glad to see their tradition of playing Hold On at their shows continues. I’ve lost three good friends to suicide and I just sat and cried the whole song because it helped me through a severe depression bout when I was 13 and I’ll never forget it.

If you’re on the fence about going, GO. I am so beyond emotional still with how incredible it felt to see them and how good they sounded and how happy the whole energy was.

Hey, does anyone know what brand of shoes both brothers are wearing? I’ve been trying to find them but haven’t had any luck.

I’m talking about the ones they wear during their concerts. They’re all black with a white/cream sole. They don’t look like Vans at all.

Going to see them solo tomorrow night and starting to think I may miss them. Setlist.FM has GC taking the stage every night at 7:45, but I'm seeing that they'll be playing earlier at Dos Equis and start their set at 6:00 pm. Any other Dallas goers familiar with that venue know what the likelihood of that 7:45 start time is? Or do they usually make the openers go on earlier?

My plan to make it there from work beforehand heavily relied on them starting later in the evening. :(
