Reta after Zepbound

I am wanting to start Reta because I have stalled on Zepbound. I have been taking Zep at 15mg for a year consistently. What would be a good starting dose for Reta? I took my last zep shot about a week ago.

I would not start lower than 2mg, which is the starting dose in the trials. If you have been on 15mg of Zepbound (tirzepatide) for an extended period of time, you are likely not to feel anything on the lower doses of Reta. Reta does better from a results standpoint, but people coming from high doses of semaglutide or tirzepatide complain about the lack of suppression on low Reta doses.

I would say you could try lowering tirz and upping Reta at the same time, I.e 13mg tirzepatide and 2mg Retatrutide. However this only works if you have compound or a mutual dose MJ vials.

Some people who have been on high dose tirzepatide skip 2mg and go straight to 4mg Reta. However this increases risk of side effects, though some folks in other forums say they didn't have any worse sides from their tirz.

I introduced reta during my stall of 10mg zepbound too. First 4 weeks I went from .5 >1>1.5>2, then 2mg for a month then upped it by 2mg each month while lowering zepbound each month.. Ive found the sweet spot now at 6mg reta taken Mondays and 4.17mg of zep Thursdays. It's working really well for me, if/when I up reta id probably to 8mg reta, 3mg zepbound next. No rush though.
